Adding sleeves, changing necklines, etc.

I'm adding some embellishments at the bustline and the waist as well as having them add some irresdescent beading throughout the skirt at random but thats about it

I'm adding sleeves. It's sleeveless and I really want to do dainty fluttery cap sleeves.

I'm debating adding an illusion neckline to my strapless - or just just cap sleeves.

I'll be adding a bit more in the front for better coverage on top, and a bustle.

My dress has one shoulder strap, which I am having taken off so it will be strapless. I thought it looked funny with the one strap- kind of gave it a toga look & it looks/feels much better as strapless.

If I keep my current dress, I'll be changing the neckline to sweetheart, lowering the back of it, possible adding straps and changing the sash that came with it (the current one has a tiny stain on the back). I'm thinking about just getting another one entirely

I was originally going to take the straps off of this dress:

    http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_A-Line-Lace-Tank-Gown-with-Beaded-Waist-CWG530

but i tried MY dress on last week and i think i like the straps now! its very versatile where i can either keep straps, remove one and have an asymmetrical or remove both for a strapless... too many decisions!

My seamstress is making my A-line gown (this is a REALLY S#itty picture of me, and my gown, but MOH had to sneak it in!!) into a mermaid shape. She's also going to pick up the neckline a bit in the front to turn down the hooch factor.

Also, the designer seemed to model size around giants with no boobs, so it needs to be nipped and tucked to look... you know... flattering!

I'm having the corset back altered to a zipper. i'm also debating removing the sewn in sequin "belt" and making it into a ribbon sash, or buying a different sash. i won't decide that until my first fitting when i talk to my seamstress about the possibility of it and how much it would cost.

then just regular alterations aside from that, like hem and bustle.

I would love to add length to my train but I can't even imagine what it will cost so I will ask but I am sure its wayyyy out of my budget. I thought about adding removable cap sleeves to wear to the ceremony but now I'm over it LOL

I changing my straight neckline into a sweetheart one. Also I asked the lady to make the skirt a little tighter around my hips to give it a better bodyline so it`s a modified A-line. It`s not quite a mermaid because they said they couldn`t make it into a mermaid but I was happy that they were at least able to lessen the A-line a little bit because it was just too much skirt.

I'll be removing the tulle sleeves/straps from my gown and having it be strictly sweetheart strapless. Photos should show front and back.

My dress has a tulle shawl that attaches in front of my arm pits and wraps around my back. I'm planning on changing it to just go around my shoulders because I don't like the thought of the tulle rubbing my upper back but it helps make the dress the one. ( it's alfred angelo ' s belle dress 206)
