Awww so cute, glad he agreed to it! Did you end up getting a venue booked? You definitely still have plenty of time to get all those big vendors booked!

Megan, how has planning been going? Did you book your venue yet? I would say to wait until about a year out to ask people to be in your bridal party! You can take engagement photos whenever you want, no strict timeline on that! Save the dates should go out between four to six months before your wedding date, so shoot for January 2020!

Just yesterday I had to push my wedding date back 6 months, which now makes my wedding date 4-4-2020. I was a little disappointed at first because I love Fall time but now I actually feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders! Now I have more time to actually get all the decor and anything extra I need for my glam wedding theme. I already have my venue and officiant booked, now I can have a little more breathing time planning the rest of my big day!🤗

We are May 2020. We have the venue book and soon to book the photographer and DJ, I am not big on flowers so we may go an alternate route for that. As soon as I finalize our colors I will begin to buy little decor items here and there.

    Feb29-2020 bride here!

We are paying everything ourselves and it is pricey and idk how we will do it but we are.

We make a good amount to be able to do it with tight budgeting and decided to start PLANNING NOW so things can flow smoothly.

We have already chosen our bridal party and in the current situation of giving them there bridal party presents.

We have found our venue and put a hold and will be putting the bigger deposit by the end of the month.

We have found our vendors but will put deposits after we sign the contract for the venue to confirm. The only vendor we have booked is our photographer and we put deposit on her and have our engagement shoot in a couple weeks.

I have already gone to Davids Bridal with 1 of my BMs just for the simple fact I have 7 girls in mine well 8, 1 MOH 6 Bridesmaids and 1 Jr. 4 of them live out of the county hours away so I brought one of my BMs who live nearby to look at dresses and try them on. With that in our group message the girls voted and went to shop themselves for dresses and we came up with 1 and now they have till next July to save up to get it if they are facing any financial issues. Bridesmaids I mean.

We have reached out to tons of vendors and shopping around and will slowly make deposits and make payments weekly to a part of the wedding so by next year we are not stressing or struggling.

To me I feel better knowing we have 15 months till the wedding and will knock it all out prior so closer to the day I will not be stressing on what to do or find when I will have it and just finish paying for it.

Our date is also in May 2020. So far we have the reception/ceremony venue, caterer, officiant and photographer booked. Once we get the venue paid down (since it has the closest due date) and some money saved up for the caterer, we're going to focus on the DJ and the dessert caterer.

That's awesome, it's good to be ahead of the game!! Once you have the venue booked you can really start to narrow down the other vendors!

Leap year wedding, so cool!! Seems like you have everything in order and have a great payment plan, that's awesome! Have you been shopping for your dress at all yet or just the bridesmaids?

Sits on a lake facing a mountain side. If luck is on our side, we'll have the ceremony on the deck on the water! Here is an interior shot. Smiley love

Wow 60 pounds, you go girl!! Makes sense though, they always say to start looking for dress between 10-12 months out from the wedding!
