Sort of. Funny story. We met in college. But started hanging out after I did a project on various online dating sites for grad school. It was on match.com where he saw my profile and then facebooked me. After I finished the project we started dating.

We are an OKCupid.com couple! Our story is pretty cute, my fiance is very shy and hardly ever talked to girls. He had his page for 3 months and had never messages anyone! He wrote me once, and at the time I wasn't checking the site regualarly, and I didnt see his message or write back. He then wrote me again (still being the only person he's ever messaged on the site) and i saw it and wrote him back! We almost missed eachother, either by his shyness or my lazyness to check my inbox! haha

My FH and I met on Ok Cupid. I met WAY too many losers online before I met him, but when I did, I knew he was a keeper. I think he only met one other gal before me, and I guess she was kinda nuts. Lucky me! :-)

We met on match.com (my kids put me on while I was at work one day!! They called me at work to tell me, AND to inform me that my best match was my ex husband (thier dad!!!) uhhhh! I told them to take it down (& of course, they didnt), I was working in an ER and really busy and couldnt deal with them until I got home! When i did get home, I was intrigued and stayed on the site. I did meet a couple nice people (and quite a few "different" people). I had actually met someone on match and had begun exlusively dating him right as my now husband (10 days now!) messaged me. I told him I'd met someone and would be removing me profile (but thanks ;/ ) . A year later I signed back on (single again) only to see him on there again, my first thought was LOSER, still on here!! But then again, I realized I was there again too!! He messaged me immediately and we began talking. I soon realized he was still on there because he was very picky, which made me nervous for our first date!! Worked though!

We met on plenty of fish. FH and I would have probably never crossed paths otherwise. So I am thankful for it!

Nope not match.com for us - Suggerdaddies.com - yup, I kid you not. I saw it on Oprah and started checking it out for a good laugh. We NEVER tell anyone about this site LOL we say we met on Yahoo

I didn't meet my DH online but I did try it for a while. I never really met anyone worth going on a 2nd date with and I also met a few that felt like the 1st date meant we were together and they owned me-had to let them know right then that I was an INDEPENDENT woman-but one success I did get out of it is one of my very best friends (a guy)...does anyone remember the site HotorNot where you would rate people? Back when I was 20, my and my girlfriends used to get on there to rate guys for laughs and this guy messaged me, we started chatting ect but it really just never developed romantically for us and instead we developed a great friendship through the years. DH even knows him and thinks it's hilarious. But for a long time we didn't tell ppl how we knew each other, we lived in different states, now we don't care. He'll be invited to the Wedding so let's see how this great story goes over with our guest. LOL

We met on match too! What lead me to his profile, besides his cute face, was he only lived about 10 mins from me ... or so I thought. After talking for about a week he updated his profile to show he had actually moved 2 hours away. That was almost a deal breaker but I decided what the heck, one date won't hurt. I knew that night he was the one. 4 months later we moved in together and 11 months after meeting we were engaged. Going on 289 days of wedded bliss!

MY DH and I met online but through a game, not a dating site. My brother met his fiance (getting married 9/9) on POF.

I love all the stories We actually grew up in the same region (MD/VA)- 2 hours away but we had both moved down to FL... and were attending the same school, living in adjacent apartment complexes, and then of course have a list of similarities that goes on and on. Met last August, officially dating by Halloween, engaged in May!

One of our major similarities is that be both love to travel... and at the beginning of November (after officially dating less than a full week) he invited me to go to Spain and Morocco for December!! Yes, that sounds like a psycho-lunatic story in the making... but if you met my FH... haha, he is just the sweetest, dearest guy ever! He is also on a military scholarship for med school, so I am thinking they did a pretty strict background check before paying that kind of dollar for someone's education!

So anyway, we went on our trip, had an INCREDIBLE experience, and looked at engagement rings when we got home...

Also- we managed to make it to Guatemala for spring break- which means that we made it to 3 foreign countries on 3 continents- in less then 6 months before getting engaged! Thanks match.com!

A funny thing that happened on our 3 or 4 date, my FH asked me if I had a passport... and I didn't think anything of the question, but little did I know what he was planning! He really knows how to impress a girl

We didn't get matched up on a typical dating site, but we did meet online. It'll be 8 years ago this weekend that we first met in person.

Yep met on Match.com on May 13,2010 and engaged on 11/23/11!! Fiance also thinks we should be on the commerical!!

We were first hooked up on eHarmony but 2 weeks later matched on match.com so I guess we were doubly fated to be together LOL!

Jay and I met online in 92. we were online with Prodigy and the place was "Finally Inn Y all" He was experienced in business. . . but knew nothing about modern woman. this was a wild place, and he was actually courting another woman, who proved to be far too much for him, so I talked him into joining me in my dungeon. We got to know each other. We both had unfaithful ex's, so it was hard to trust each other. Finally he came to Boston for us to meet, and he has been mine ever since.

We are PoF (plenty of fish) couple! We wrote back and forth for a good month before actually meeting. I knew the moment I met him, that this was going to be something great and amazing. And now 2 years later, almost to the date, we are 88 days away from officially being Mr & Mrs!
