Any other “so extra” flamboyant kind of brides?

So I’m a week out and feeling the pressure to look like a classic/timeless/elegant bride from family and it’s just not me. I’m feeling down by the negativity. So I’m a week out and feeling the pressure to look like a classic/timeless/elegant bride from family and it’s just not me. I’m feeling down by the negativity. My attire is set in stone, I’m comfortable with what I’ve chosen but I’m definitely a “more is more” so extra kind of dresser so I’d really like to see some stories or photos of brides like that!

Fun hair?
Colored dresses?
Over the top accessories or makeup?
GLITTER!?

Please share so I can fawn over all of you.

This is true but I really don’t want to hurt my mom’s feelings. No one supports our marriage as much as her, she’s been our cheerleader from day one. She used to tell me when I’d be having dating problems in high school “Oh don’t worry, you’re going to marry x”, so even if she’s driving me crazy lately I do know she means well.
She supports most of my quirks. Pink hair for wedding? You bet. But she draws the line somewhere I want to cross. It’s been a struggle for sure! I just hope she’ll find me beautiful anyway.

I'm going to be wearing this headpiece which I think is beautiful but also a little extravagant but hey, the 20's are back so why not?! I'm also changing from my ceremony dress into a reception dress, otherwise that's it for kicks lol I'm envious of all of y'all who can break the walls and do over the top beautiful things!!! My FH would flip as he is pretty conservative, meanwhile I'm cheering y'all on!!

I wore a civil war reenactment ballgown to my prom. It was made of a discontinued french fabric. The hoop skirt was almost as wide as I am tall. I'm no girly girl, but when I'm expected to dress formal I go all out. In short, BE EXTRA, it's fun!

Bonus picture of that prom gown:

Daaang! You’d be a natural at renaissance costumes! Those big beautiful ballgowns are a dream. Are you wearing something like that for your wedding?

Never mind that I had no idea what to do with my hands lol. It'll have a crinoline or hoop skirt day off, the sample dress didn't come with one to try on with it. And then I'm thinking my reception dress will be something like this:

Me too! My only concern is that it'd be hard to hem (I am VERY short) because of all the embroidery. So I might go with a different dress from the same company. (Check out HolyClothing.com if you like that kind of fashion. Smiley laugh )

I was going to do my hair rose gold and purple and decided to not touch my hair until close to the wedding after having it blue when he proposed less than a year before. I had forgotten how my hair looked naturally and actually opted to just get highlights instead of fun colors which is outside the norm for me lol. My shoes were a bit over the top since they were sequin converse and my veil was super blingy and I wore a tiara. It was Vegas and we wanted to be fun! I also went with tea length for my dress which is definitely
