Aw I think it’s cute. You should feel comfortable in it. I know it’s hard especially because it’s all eyes on us but find a dress that makes you feel as comfortable and confident as possible. It is flattering for your body shape and once it fits you perfectly it’d be great! And because you asked here’s a picture of my dress. I KNOW the plus size body struggle but I found the one.

You're dress is fabulous! Once the dress is the right size it will feel more like your own. I found mine at DB, the top 2 pics are with their accessories, the bottom is just dress itself.
