Any side shave brides?

Help! I'm planning a wedding for next year. My fiance wants me to leave my hair how it is and honestly I dont feel like dealing with the headache of trying to grow out the short side. Anyone have any styling tips for how I could do my hair on the big day? Sorry I wasnt smiling, it was early in the morning at the airport.

This is pretty close to how my hair naturally grows, thanks to alopecia. If you part it differently, can it lay on both sides and be left down, looking fairly natural? If you're not looking to showcase it on the wedding day that is.
Otherwise, leave it as it is--maybe stick a flower behind your ear. My 24 years of this hairstyle have taught me there's not much you can do for up-dos and something like a braid may make you feel like you belong in Avatar...

I have the back shaved on mine, but I just came to say how lovely yours looks. I would keep it like that and maybe add some extensions so it kinda cascades over your shoulder.

Personally, as a hair stylist and my liking I would curl it, I used to have my side shaved also. And I would curl it with a wand and it looked stunning!! You can also add like a barrette to hold a certain curl instead of a Bobby pin
