Any suggestion appreciated!!!

Rachel, on November 9, 2020 at 11:46 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
I am getting married in May, and my fiancé and I’s original plan was to have a small ceremony from 10:00-10:45 am, a small brunch to do cake cutting/speeches right after (so about 11:00 am-1:00 pm), pictures from 1:30 pm-3:00 pm, then an open house reception from about 4:00 pm-7:00 pm. My only concern is eating before pictures - I literally hate the thought of not asking my bridal party to eat, so i’m thinking of providing breakfast that morning for them before they get dressed. Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome!! And p.s., congratulations to you all that are engaged/just married/etc!! Smiley smile

Providing breakfast definitely makes sense. But why won't they be able to eat during the brunch from 11-1?

We could, but if we spill anything on our dresses or suits, it won’t be good before taking pictures

Oh. Well, yeah, you can't ask your bridal party to go without food from breakfast until 4:00 pm. Provide them with bibs? Allow them to change? Trust them not to spill their food?

I would take as many pictures prior to the ceremony as you can. Then, if you still need additional photos, you could spend maybe 30 mins immediately after the ceremony taking them. 30 minutes isn’t that long for your guests to find their seats, mingle, maybe get a mimosa, etc.

I like this idea! I think I will end up doing something like this. Thank you!
