Any use the Silhouette Cameo 3 for their wedding?

Kelly, on March 2, 2019 at 11:11 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 2

Does anyone have any experience using the silhouette cameo for wedding projects? I would love to attempt to do a vinyl decal welcome sign and a seating chart on a mirror (possibly use it for table numbers too) but I’m wondering if it’s challenging to use for a beginner. I’m super particular with the way things looks, so I’m hoping it’s easy to get a professional look. Any input is greatly appreciated, thank you!

I bought a cameo several years ago and it sat in a box until a few weeks ago. Finally got it out and now I’m obsessed! I would say that cutting vinyl for signs/stencils is pretty beginner friendly. I consider myself a crafty person though too. A few YouTube video tutorials and you should be good to go.

So far I’ve made a welcome sign, acrylic signs, BM names on hangers, unplugged ceremony chalkboard. I plan to use it for our seating chart too.

I have a silhouette cameo. I haven’t used it for anything wedding related yet but plan to. If you use Facebook there are a ton of groups that are extremely helpful in learning how to use it. There is a specific cameo group for weddings too, def suggest looking it up. It’s pretty easy to use, I had the most problems when I tried to use the silhouette brand transfer tape though and ended up getting a different brand online. If you need any help let me know.
