I have to agree with PPs.... you are going to need to modify your expectations. Your wedding is in less than 2 months.. if you are dead set on keeping that date, you will need to find a venue ASAP. I know you keep saying your fiancé wants a garden, but if no one you know has one you can use for free, he’s going to have to compromise and use a free/low cost public outdoor space (if there is one available this late notice), or he will have to give up the idea of a garden wedding all together and utilize whatever space you can find within your budget. I am not trying to be harsh at all, but it is important for you to be realistic at this point so close to your wedding date. If you are not willing to reschedule, you are going to have to be more flexible and make do with whatever space you can find within your budget. The fact that you are unwilling to reschedule indicates to me that you and your fiancé are just really excited and ready to be married to one another... So just focus on that! Stop focusing on the venue and start focusing on the fact that no matter where you hold the ceremony, at the end of it you will be married to your best friend Smiley smile

Maybe just get the license and have a fancy dinner for $700 to celebrate?

Everyone is saying that, but I went on the website and I don’t see that it specifically says weddings are banned. It just says that the max occupancy is 16 people. So it you’re having a Super intimate ceremony, i guess it’s doable.

I think what it means is that if an Airbnb property can can sleep 16 people, then it can continue to accept reservations for 16 people in that particular property. But what's not allowed is to, say, book a property that sleeps 6 people and then hold a gathering for 16 people there. I think the 16 number just applies to occupancy, and all parties are banned. I suppose if the OP wanted to book an Airbnb that could sleep 16 people, and everyone involved in the wedding was staying there, maybe that would be allowed? I don't know the answer, but regardless, I think it would be very tough to find an Airbnb that could sleep 16 people with a budget of $700 for the whole wedding. In any case, the OP should probably reach out to Airbnb directly to clarify if she wants more info

We are getting married at the Faternal Order of Police...everything there is available to use. Chairs, tables, dishes and even a kitchen. Our total for the facility was 850...200 refundable deposit and 650 for the place.

Elope to Vegas. Plenty of pretty little chapels with garden space.

Depending on the parish you belong to, they may not allow outdoor ceremonies at all. You could marry in the church and get a cake to serve in the fellowship hall. It doesn't get less expensive than that and you stay under budget.

I am doing a mini VRBO wedding soon, and the b&b sleeps all 14 of our guests. We were told we can have a celebration dinner with everyone staying over, we just can’t invite anyone outside of the reservation. Hope that helps!
