Anybody else love planning?

My wedding’s a good ways away in October 2023, but I’m a bit planner so I pretty much already have everything planned down to party favors & flower girl petals. Nothing’s booked yet because we have to move up to that state in August to look at venues, but I already know which ones I’ll try to...

Everyone always talks about how stressful planning is but I LOVE it. Fiancé feels bad about not contributing more to planning because she doesn’t care as much but I’m happy as a clam planning everything myself and running my ideas past her to make sure she likes them too. Am I the only one???

Good luck with your move! I'm sure you'll find vendors. I think my situation was because I went with popular vendors in the area.

That is me all the way. We plan together but he says, as long as you're happy that's all that matters. But he does help a lot. My wedding is 07.20.2024 but I have moat stuff planned out already...bouquet, BM dresses, FG dresses, RB outfit, GB, and a multitude of others. I've like to be ready

Sounds like you already have a lot of information. I’d love to give you an important piece of knowledge to the planning puzzle!

Keep in mind that some venues have required and/or preferred lists for vendors meaning you may have to pick from their specific list for things like wedding coordinator, event rentals, and catering. My venue is really popular, and I am required to work with a coordinator off their required list, and then select majority of my vendors off a separate preferred list. If I choose a vendor for something that is not on their list, it has to be approved by the venue and a few other requirements. Venues like to do this often to keep working with vendors that they like and have worked well with in the past.
Try not to get your heart set on specifics until you know venue contract details. Good luck!
