Anybody know anything about Lipsense?

Lauren, on January 28, 2017 at 7:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19

I have a friend who has started selling Lipsense lipstick and I was wondering if it was worth the money. If it's really as good as it's supposed to be it might be worth using for the wedding. Any thoughts on it?

I am wondering as well. I have a TON of friends that love it and I think it'd be worth it for the wedding! FH hates getting lipstick all over him... only thing I've seen that is bad is you can't use any chapstick with wax because the lipsense makes it flake so you have find something else for moisture.

My friend uses it and it last really good. I just haven't been a fan of the colors I have seen

My mom and I bought a few of them, it says they're suppose to last for hours and hours and stay on and look great. No mess. However, it looks good for about 2 hours, then it starts to peel off and you have to reapply it. Then after reapplying it multiple times, it REALLY starts to get cakey and peel off even worse. Wasn't worth the money IMO.

These suckers really don't budge. They're honestly the perfect wedding day lipstick. I personally have one color and the gloss you can put over it to make your lips hydrated again. (They can be a little drying)

Water, food, kisses...you name it. You've gotta force that shit off at the end of the day.

I believe this color is called Sheer Berry.

I have 2 colors. Plus the glossy gloss. I know you are supposed to take it off at night ( well there has been a time or two I forgot) got up the next morning. Still on. No smudging on my pillow! I love it 3 coats. As soon as it dries (super quick) it's on all day!!! Love love love it

I actually just bought a few colors to try it too! I heard that it can take a few weeks for your lips to get used to it and it can flake quite a bit in the beginning. I'm a chapstick addict so it's a little brutal not being able to use it. One complaint is that I think the gloss is a little, well, glossy for my taste. I've heard there are others so I may have to give them a shot.

I know it's the newest MLM, which means I won't touch it.

I have a strong moral/ethical issue with MLMs.

I have some and I love it! If you use it according to the directions and touch up the gloss occasionally, it will easily last for 12 hours.

There's also ColourPop, which is like the cheaper version of the Kylie lipsticks. Lasts for a good couple of hours but if you eat something like ice cream or yogurt, it gets messed up. Same deal - it's matte and you have to make sure your lips are smooth or else your lips look flaky.

My sister's wedding is next weekend and she and i are both planning on wearing Lipsense! i have a million of them and they last all day long so they're definitely perfect for weddings. If your color is coming off after an hour or two like some people mentioned, its probably not being applied properly. I love that you can layer colors, that way if theres not the exact color you want, you can mix them until you get the perfect shade for you! One of my good friends is a distributor and i know a ton about it so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!
