Anyone annoyed by the name changing process? Where did you start?

Ive been working on it, little by little, the most painful has been work stuff, and licences i have to have for my job.. other then that ss and dmv were very quick, and painless!

I've heard the same. Doesn't sound worth it, monetary wise and security wise.

I just started the name change process. To second what PPs have said, I don't think they really do anything other than gather paperwork for you that you still have to take in and pay fees on.

I just started at the courthouse to get the marriage certificate, then went to the social security administration. They're mailing my new card and once I have that, I can pretty much just go down the list. It's frustrating waiting in line and dealing with the government

I used Marriage Name Change.com you fill out the forms and then WRITE in your SSN when you print it out to mail it!!
