Anyone do food stations??

I’ve never heard of stations at a wedding (only seen plated, buffet, & family style) but a couple venues nearby offer this and I love it. I love Italian food and my fiancé loves Mexican food so it’d be nice to have a little bit of everything but before we commit, I wanted to know if anyone’s done this or has been to a wedding where it was done? We will still have passed appetizers and cheese/fruit displays during cocktail hour.

I am helping my granddaughter to plan her wedding and she doesn't like sit down dinners, but would like an appetizer cocktail wedding with stations, but there must be seating for all guests. Looking for a venue in nj

If you don't mind me asking, how was the cost for this? I am thinking of doing stations because I like the variety, but I also want the most cost efficient option.

You may want to start a new post for current information because the previous posters are long gone.

The only way to find out is to get price quotes in your area. This is an international forum so no two couples are paying the same prices, even in the same city. Larger cities have a wide range of price/service options and smaller towns tend to be more expensive due to limited resources.
