Anyone else going right back to work after their wedding

We haven't decided what we are doing yet, but its looking likely that it will be back to work on Monday for us too.

Can you spend the wedding weekend away from home so at least you feel like you aren't falling back into the same old routine?

We get married next Saturday and return to work on Tuesday. Taking a 4 day mini moon the following weekend and postponing our actual honeymoon until December due to work obligations.

Me also date twin! No honey moon for us..we are shopping for a house after. I did take the Monday after off, but I scheduled my son's Dr. Appt that day. Also, my son is going on 9 months and I'm too freaked out to have him stay the night somewhere. He's a great baby and sleeps through the night...I just can't do it!!

Me too! No honeymoon for us until Next year due to work. We are though taking Friday-Monday off. We are going back to work on Tuesday. On Sat and Sun we are staying at a nice hotel and following weekend a mini get away, unsure where.

We went right back to work after the wedding. We are going on our honeymoon next month... husband couldn't get time off of work until then.

Me. Our honeymoon isn't until December and I'm using any and all time for that. So I'll be back at work Monday morning after my Friday wedding.

Renee yeah, my baby is 21 months and I'm worried about our wedding night. He's never slept away from us and I don't really trust anyone to keep him overnight except my parents lol. My mom isn't acting like she really wants to keep him that night but she is keeping my older son lol!! So we may just be going back home with him that night

I went back to work on Tuesday after our Saturday wedding. It wasn't awful! Our honeymoon was six weeks after our wedding.

I will say that if you can swing Monday off (or at least going in late), you'll thank yourself. DH and I stayed in our wedding night hotel room one more night so we didn't have to worry about packing up or getting in the car the Sunday after. It was awesome to have Sunday to relax, Monday to get back to our house and unpack, then go back to work on Tuesday.

Back to work Monday too! It'll stink but we are doing a long weekend mini moon in Nov. and our honeymoon end of June/beginning of July next year. It'll be great to look forward to it.

Pretty much. i have two days off after, but i have an 11 hour road trip from our wedding location back home, so it's not really going to be "vacation."

Oo I do like the idea of Monday off or at least going in late.

I'm also going back to work on Monday after my wedding. I'm going to take the 1st week of July off for my honeymoon. I need to save as much time possible to make sure I'll have the time.

A coworker of mine got married in March. She to married on Saturday, she and her husband went to a hotel Saturday and Sunday and were back at work on Monday. They're planning a destination vow renewal next year on a cruise. I would recommend trying to take off the Monday after, if you can, just to give yourself a little time to relax.

Unfortunately that monday is a busy time with lots of deadlines so I would feel kinda bad taking it off. I'll see what my boss has to say. I changed jobs a few months ago, and this wouldn't have been an issue at my old job when I picked the date lol. Poop.

I have to go back on Monday too. Our honeymoon doesn't leave until the following Monday. I was bummed about it but it'll give me time to pack during the week instead of having to add that to the wedding day stress!

I did. I couldn't take the next week off because I'm a teacher and it was testing time for my kids. No way would I not be there for them.

We took our honeymoon in July. It was nice to have something else to look forward to!

I'll be back the Tuesday after my Saturday wedding. Then hoping to book a honeymoon for January when the pto refreshes!

I won't be going back to work that Monday but I get very limited vacation and holidays so I'll be working thanksgiving and the day after Christmas and New Years my first year of marriage. Which sucks but I suppose it's okay.

We are Memorial Day weekend so we have Monday off but I'll be back at work on Tuesday. We are flying home Monday. We'll be tired but oh well!
