Anyone else going right back to work after their wedding

I went back the Tuesday after, DH had to go back on Monday. He doesn't have much flexibility with his time off and I didn't think sitting home being a newlywed alone would be all that fun. We are honeymooning in September!

Taking the week prior off and right back to work the Monday following... UGH

We have a week between wedding and honeymoon. So yep, back to work we will go.

Me too. We already took a long trip together (which we consider our honeymoon) this summer and will need more time off to visit families late in the year, so we couldn't afford (time off and financially) to do traditional honeymoon as well.

Same. I'm getting married in November and we are doing our honeymoon to Aruba in May

I am getting married on a Saturday and going to work on Monday. We're delaying our honeymoon a couple weeks.

I am! I will go back to work that Monday. We aren't taking our honeymoon for a while because I just started a new job. I'm super bummed I don't get to relax for a few days after the wedding.

I feel you on this one. I will be starting a new job just 2 weeks before the wedding, so I feel bad asking for time off. I've decided to just suck it up and go back to work on Monday.

Yup. We both went back to work that Tuesday, we did take the Monday off to spend a little extra time with some OOT family that was still here. We are going on our HM in October.

We are postponing honeymoon until January as well, but I took off Friday before and Monday after...

I got married on a Friday & was back in the office that following Monday & it SUCKED!!! Everyone kept asking "Why the fuck are you working??", but DH & I were making a big move across the country from CA to NC only a month after the wedding, so a honeymoon right after the wedding was not even an option. We're hoping to plan a belated honeymoon sometime next year.

Our wedding is on Saturday and I will be back to work on Tuesday, as our honeymoon isn't until Feb.

I went to work the day after my wedding. We married in December and honeymooned in April.

I will be as well. It's not because of work but because of booking a resort. We are going to Disney World for our honeymoon since neither of us have been before (and really want to), but resorts were booked the first two weeks after our wedding. So we'll be going that following week in mid-October. But I really don't mind it too much. It'll give us time to relax after the wedding and it'll give us something to look forward to again! Not to mention, it'll be nice not having to feel rushed to get ready for a honeymoon immediately after the wedding.

We won't be able to afford a honeymoon right away. My wedding is on saturday, I'm taking off Friday and Monday. It makes me really sad to think about going back to work on tues.

I'm doing the same thing... back to work on Monday after the wedding. I'm a teacher so we're waiting until the summer so we can have a longer honeymoon.

We are going right back the work. Getting married Sunday, back at work by Wednesday for both of us. Currently no plans for a honeymoon, but it will happen sometime next year.

I keep thinking about it and it all depends on FH's family. They are trying to plan a vacation two weeks after we get married *eye roll* but nothing is set in stone. If the vaca happens, I will go back the following Monday. If the vaca doesn't happen, I will take the following week off

I will have to go back to work and we will wait till June for our honeymoon (I'm a teacher). My mom told me today she plans to take the week off after the wedding and I laughed and made a joke about how I'll be the newly wed back at work with my FH and she'll have a week off.

Yup. I will be at work Monday morning. Planning a honeymoon later in the year.
