Anyone else going right back to work after their wedding

Yep... we're getting married on a Saturday night, and Sunday night FH needs to be back at the bakery to prepare a large order (he provides to a college cafeteria and every monday has the largest request) so he'll have to be there to bake and see that everything else is up to standard, and I'm going Monday morning back to the office (I'm not taking any day off even before). Thankfully the hotel where we'll be staying is like 10 minutes away from the house (and the bakery)

We are having a DW, but it's within driving distance. We are only staying Friday to Monday like it were any other short trip. We are going on our honeymoon in February because i didn't want to chance bad weather on an expensive honeymoon.

We get married in a Friday and I go back to work Tuesday

We return back to work that monday & tuesday, then leave for our honeymoon that wednesday. i've been cashing in all my time just for this. i think i got lucky!

FH will most likely have to. I however won't have to. In taking 3 days before and the whole week after. Or at least that's what I'm planning in my head. Could change tho

I unfortunately will have to be at clinical early Monday morning and FH will be back to work. ( I am in an NP program right now)

Our honeymoon will be a week in January when I am on school break!

Yea, definitely can't afford NOT to go back to work right afterwards. Will be asking for a day or two off before wedding day though

I'm just taking the Thursday and Friday before off as well as the Monday after. Our honeymoon won't be until December.

I'm off from November 5-November 28. I can't wait to get some time away from work. I needed to use 128 hrs.

I can't take my honeymoon after the wedding because I'm going to school and my wedding date will be right smack dab in the middle of midterms. FH and I will be waiting till January for our honeymoon.

I'm going back the Wednesday after. Only taking a week off (Wednesday-Tuesday).

Thats probably going to be me too. So Im right there with you girl. I just accepted an offer at a firm and started this week. There is no way I 'm going to have accrued any time off or have the guts to ask for time off.

We are thinking about going away for the weekend but its sucks- how far can you go for 2 days without coming back to work Monday and falling asleep on your desk haha.

Anyway we are planning to do a real honeymoon at the end of this year once I have actually accrued some vacation time.

My wedding is on a Friday. I will be taking off Thursday & Monday. Due to a car accident, we have been off for 8 weeks, so I had to cancel honeymoon arrangements. As soon as we can accumulate leave we will be going on a honeymoon.

Same here, I am going back that Monday and our honeymoon is in January as well.

We are getting married on a Saturday and I have to go back to class the Monday after. Our wedding is during my only break of the year so we are waiting to go on our honeymoon until after I graduate. It sucks, but we have something to look forward to later that year

I will be going back to work the following Monday after the wedding. We are hoping to go on our honeymoon a few months after.

We are getting married in May and plan to go to Puerto Rico in December the week after Christmas.
