Anyone else have a "perfect" sister-in-law?

No thank god. My FH's SiL is literally a mental case. I don't have to do much to be the perfect one.

THat would irritate the crap out of me, no joke.

My FH is like I'm going to chew your mom out if she pulls that crap on your day (yeah he calls the wedding my day, maybe that is why I call it my wedding...)

Ha. That sucks. I'm glad all my SIL's are disasters. They are the favorites though (with MIL) because they have kids. It's better than competing with them though

No, but I guess technically I am the "perfect" SIL in my scenario. My FMIL is always comparing us and making my FH's sister feel bad. I hate it but there nothing I can do about it.

Ew, no. I'd flip on my mom but luckily she hates my now ex-SIL.

Like seriously I would not be surprised if my mom had a notebook filled with my sis-in-law's name and heart doodles

FH and his sister do not get along. In fact, I've only seen her in passing. We haven't 'officially' been introduced haha

So if shes 'perfect' I'd have no idea! lol

That would drive me insane though.

My FMIL thinks she's perfect which is why she had a cow when I didn't ask her to be a bm. My family isn't a huge fan due to the lack of parenting my FSIL and her husband do, and they don't think it's the nicest that they always drop their 3 kids off with us. My FIL's though think she can do no wrong. If we don't take her kids for her we're automatically in the wrong. I was hospitalized for gallbladder issues and H.Pylori the traveled through my entire digestive system back in August and she was blowing up my FH's phone (her brother) to watch her kids because they wanted to go to the bar with a few out of town friends. My FMIL was upset on his part, because he didn't help his sister. She says I would've been fine in the hospital overnight by myself (which is true) however I think it was really inconsiderate on his sisters part to keep nagging us. He stayed with me through the night, and our MOH and BM offered to keep our daughter over night so we could make sure everything with me was fine.

FH only has 2 younger brothers so I'm super happy about that! Haha I've never had a brother

My FSIL is awesome. She is letting me borrow her veil and her twins are our flower girls. She has flower girl baskets she is giving me too. She has been so helpful and really wants to be involved. I have one of those geese that sits on your front porch that you dress in different outfits. She got me a bride and a groom outfit for it. So cute!

My mom is not obsessed with her though haha

I don't have that exact problem, as in my mother is not so in love with my FSIL that she wants to buy her extra stuff, but if she did I wouldn't mind. My FSIL is so amazing! I love her! Heck, I wanted to plan her a baby shower while in the middle of planning my wedding. I was going to ask her about it this weekend, but I just found out that her friends are throwing her one in a few weeks, which we unfortunately can't make, so I won't ask now. But seriously, she's awesome. She's not in my wedding (her husband is an usher), but I did get her a sash from Thailand to give her at the wedding.

My SIL is super moody... And I'm pretty sure we have nothing in common. *sigh*

I kind of do. Tall, blond, beautiful, skinny, great job and makes tons of money. Then my step sister-in-law is beautiful, skinny, new boobs, a dentist and owns her own practice. Oh, and we are all the same exact age. Yea, I feel like a loser at family gatherings....

My FSIL is the favorite child in FH family... She is the only daughter, 3 sons- 1 of which is the sisters TWIN... She has to be the center of everyones world, and my inlaws cater to her every want and need. Funny thing is when his parents need help with anything especially money they call US.... My co-workers gave me a shower {my only bridal party is my kids 1 is 6 the other is 14} they made sure all the females on my quest list were invited (FH gave them the guest list and addresses) neither my FSIL or my FMIL came to the shower or even called for that matter. However FSIL is preggo with her 2nd child and is due 1 month after our wedding. I got an invite to her shower the day after my shower- hers was a week ago which is 2 weeks before our wedding and was going to be 3 hours away from me. My inlaws called me 3 days after my shower asking for $ cause the car battery dies and they did not have the funds. So we gave them the money(still have not been paid back but whatever) only to find out 1 week later that FH mom decided to rent a car for the weekend to go across the state for the baby shower. She then bought all kinds of gift for what will be the fist BIOLOGICAL grandson (I have a son, and FBIL has a step-son), then then spend money to have 3 trees chopped down in the yard. How the HECK are you going to call and ask us for money then spend all this other money if you don't have it????

So yeah I feel your pain. UGH...

It's kinda opposite with me, where my MIL LOVES my sister. She came to visit me a couple of times while I was living with my MIL and since my sister is similar to my SIL, my sister got along very well with my MIL.

My MIL would never go and get an extra gift like that though. That's just WAY out of line. You should talk to your SIL and let her know that this gift is coming her way and it is from your mom and unrelated to the gifts that you are giving her as a BM.

Yeahhhh fh and I are both kind of the least favorites of our family. His only brother has like 5 degrees and is very successful in his career. Not so much in his personal life.... anyways my sister is even the favorite with fh family too. Eh after being a teen mom im used to not being the favorite. Fh still has a hard time with it. Luckily in fh family there are no sisters so im it. Does that make me the favorite?? Hurray!!!

FH only has brothers, so no immediate FSIL, other than his brother's wives.

My FSIL is georgous, skinny as hell, has an amazing personality, knows what to say and when to say it, and is just so awesome and fun.... i am totally jealous LOL

Yeah..my SIL is super gorg, skinny, and is about to graduate from vet school. F' off. I'm awesome, at least FH thinks so!
