Anyone else have a super casual proposal?

I was proposed to at my kitchen table. It was perfect for us, but there are no photos or elaborate stories to share.

FH proposed to my on the couch after dinner in our house. We haven't gone out to eat since we bought our house as we are trying to save money. He went and picked up food from my favorite place and set the table with candles. He also got dessert from my favorite chocolate shop. I walked in from work and was taken by surprise. After dinner we were sitting in our living room and he proposed. We are very low key people who don't need/want to be the center of attention. To me, this proposal was 100x more special then any elaborate one could have been. Now we have created a special memory in our new home.

He proposed on a random Wednesday in our kitchen. He asked me to go into the junk drawer and bring him some scissors and when I opened the drawer the ring box was staring me in the face. I yelled at him because I was sick, wearing a smelly old fleece hoodie and eating a big piece of cheddar cheese like a pig. lol

He proposed to me while I was wearing my Cat in the Hat pajama bottoms. He had a plan too but as soon as he picked up the ring, he couldn't wait.

My fh is an avid hunter (deer, Turkey, racoon etc.) We had discussed getting married for a while. He was very admit on me going racoon hunting one night. He set up his trail camera and while I was holding the leashes of two dogs that are bigger than me, he asked if the camera was working. As I turned to check it, I turned around and he was on one knee. It was perfect!

FH proposed to me in front of the Midway ship in San Diego. He did it there because I had memories from my dad and grandpa there, both who have passed away. But there was no secret photographer hiding and we had to ask a stranger to take our picture. It was very sentimental and sweet to me but by no means super complicated or over the top.

Yeah, while I was getting ready for our annual double date with friends to the rodeo that comes through town, I walked into the living room and he was on one knee and trying to get our dog to sit next to him and "help" him propose. She got too excited and peed in the floor.

FH and I were house sitting for Valentine's Day and when we woke up immediately he was like "let's do gifts" After I gave him his he got down on one knee and I lost it haha. He said he planned to go out and do something bigger but he was so excited and didn't want to wait

Ours was very casual and low key. 2 days before my birthday we were going out for dinner. As I was getting ready to put my coat on he said he was going to have 2 questions for me, one being where I was taking him for dinner (but he couldn't ask because I'd previously told him to pick) and the second being....gets on one knee and asks if I'll marry him.

No video or pictures of it happening, but that's okay. We are pretty casual overall and he's not a big social media person. It didn't need to be a big thing. There's plenty of time for that

FH randomly asked me why I wanted to marry him, which was odd because we have had plenty of marriage talks. At the end he said "good answer" and forwarded me an email from my dream healer saying my ring was ready with a video of my ring. Then nothing. A few weeks later, the day before thanksgiving 2016, I was in the yard spray painting charger plated for thanksgiving dinner when he called our 2 yo son in the house. They came back out a few minutes later, our son had the ring box and said "mommy you're gonna marry daddy!"

FH said he a proposal planned but the ring came that morning and he knew all our family was coming over for thanksgiving the next day.

My FH went all out. Winery, surprised with both our families, and a videographer.

FH was playing video games in his bedroom and I was sitting next to him just kinda joking around saying we already acted like we were married. He just kinda looks at me and said: "wanna make it official then?" and I just stared at him. He then told me he was going to propose anyway and that he was getting me a ring soon and said we might as well just consider ourselves engaged.

Not how I imagined it but I wouldn't change it for the world

I didn'teven have a proposal. Somewhere around our nine year mark (this past April), we just looked at each other and said "Wanna get married?" "Ok. Why not?"

He had purchased a beautiful engagement ring years ago just because I wanted something sparkly. He gave it as a Christmas gift, but not an engagement ring. Neither of us were in a hurry to get married.

FH and I were making pies for Thanksgiving and he turned to me and told me he was going to officially propose on our 5 year anniversary. I almost stabbed him going to kiss him (I was chopping apples) and I wouldn't change anything about it

My FH got me out of bed at 10:30 pm to take a walk outside because he couldn't sleep. He was being super weird and jittery, so I was a little nervous because I thought that would be the moment (during our "romantic walk" in 30 degree weather), but he didn't propose until we got back into the house, and he just casually pulled the box out of his pocket and asked me. Turns out he had only had the ring for about 12 hours, so I guess he didn't have time or patience to wait and plan something more elaborate. I didn't mind though, I would have said yes no matter how he asked.

FH proposed after taking a nighttime stroll an the beach while on vacation. I was stargazing and turned around to see him on one knee. We then went back to the house to show my family.

My fh proposed at the end of a carriage ride. It was simple- no long speech, no one recorded it, no big crowd surrounding us but it was everything to me! We were in New Orleans and he literally said my full name and will you marry me lol that's it and that was enough for me bc he seemed so genuine and sincere when he asked

Mine was definitely super casual. I honestly thought he was going to propose on NYE but since we were at a friend's wedding, I knew that was out. He actually waited until the 1st and pretended like he left his wallet (we stayed at hotel). When we got home, I said I would just wait in car since we were going to brunch but then he came rushing out like something happened in the house and told me to come in. I ran in and he was on one knee. It was just us and it was wonderful.

I made my ring and kind of knew it was coming cause he'd gotten into a car accident by my brothers job a place he would never be unless he was asking his permission lol but he took me out on a date in the city (chicago) a proposed to me at the end of it by one of my favorite harbors, it was so sweet, he's not one to make a big of show of things so I know just that was super huge for him. We had my younger brother with me which really threw me off but he ended up video taping the whole thing so it was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
