Anyone else on the watteau train train?

I am in the research phase of looking for my wedding dress and I love the look of a watteau train or even a cape. But I am not finding many stores in my area of central Texas that have this option - at least not in their online collections. Does anyone know what bridal shops or online stores have a good collection? Does anyone else like this look or is it considered old-fashioned?

Oooh I looked it up and it's so pretty. I do not have one but I think it's very dramatic and I love it!
Victor and Rolf had one, a while back, but I did a bit of a search through brands generally, and it doesn't look like they're very common, which is a shame. Maybe a detachable one would be a good way to go, or looking for cape rather than Watteau - I did find some beautiful cape options on Jesus Peiro's website!

As the PP said, I think you may have better luck with a detachable one. I’m going with a “poncho” like the one below from Amsale.

That's beautiful! I agree. A detachable one would be great because I could match it with pretty much any dress I choose. I looked on Etsy and found quite a few also. I'll keep on the lookout! Thank y'all.

I love it, reminds me of like Princess Bride or something of that era. Old fashioned is hot right now!

I find this a new trend so not old-fashioned to me. I almost bought this Zavana over the head cape, but went w/a different dress. This Australian brand has several styles & I also see some on the Tadashi Soji website.
