Anyone else regretting not eloping?

@christina I've always wanted to go to Alaska and eloping on a damn glacier sounds amazing! I wouldn't blame you one bit.

Me! I am! were having a DW in October in New Orleans. Its out favorite place on earth and originally we were going to go just us, and our parents, but then we thought about it and wanted friends, and then cousins and now its 40 people (which still sint much) but still. Were about the same budget as you, but we needed to hire a coordinator last minute to deal with planning because i was legit having panic attacks so bad i almost went to the hospital. So were over budget by about 1k but still not so bad for a DW. But back to you...I totally feel ya! I do wish we'd stuck to the original plan, but then again, i too feel like wed look back and regret not having our nearest and dearest (in my situation tho, barely any of my friends and family will be there which adds to the regret of not eloping since my heart is broken they wont be attending after we invited them). I feel like this is a normal feeling for couples before theyre wedding, its a HUGE expense and its just one day and i think people start seeing it as that instead of a day to celebrate the love you share....Im trying SO hard to see it like that as a special day that we will look back on an cherish, but right now through the stress and anxiety and let downs its kinda hard.
