It seems as the day gets closer and closer more and more drama seems to appear. One of the groomsmen now says he may not be able to come because of a job offer starting in October! It seems as the day gets closer and closer more and more drama seems to appear. One of the groomsmen now says he may not be able to come because of a job offer starting in October! Also no one in our wedding party really seems all that interested in our wedding at all! I have barely heard from my maid of honor except when I text her. Unfortunately we all live in different states but as the day gets closer I would really love to feel the love from our supposedly friends instead they just seem to be making more of a headache. Looking back I think eloping would have been a better option! Hoping that all goes well once we all get in the same state for the wedding weekend.

    I was actually ok with going to the courthouse, but I was going to still make sure I had a nice dress, hair done, makeup done, etc. However my fiancee and mother wanted a wedding. So we are doing a very small, intimate beach wedding. Only moms, dads, sisters, nieces and nephews allowed. My mom is trying to guilt trip me into inviting aunts, uncles, cousins but we are firm on not doing that. I just did not want the stress it seems a lot of brides go through and also I did not want to go into debt as we are trying to get a home and start a family within the next year or year and a half.

    I started planning and stuck to the wedding we wanted - small. Didn't let excitement get the best of me. Haven't let stress get the best of me either.

    No one will be interested in your wedding as much as you.

    All will go well with your wedding, hang in there - you're almost there!
