Anyone ever done CoolSculpt or Kybella?

Joanna, on October 4, 2017 at 8:11 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 5

I'm contemplating these two options for my double chin. Has anyone ever done either? If so, I would be interested in any advice you could give.

I did cool sculpting almost a month ago. I had to my bye bye arm area done! LOL It takes about 3 months to see full results, but I've seen a difference already. :+)

Hello!  I used to be a medical assistant at a dermatology practice in the upper east side manhatten and my doctor offered kybella treatments to patients. Kybella is effective but the sude affects from treatment are immediate. You chin will swell because your fat is being being liquifid from the kybella injection.  The only imagery i can compare it too is having the mumps. This will last for 2 weeks  and you will probably want to wear a scarf around the area to  distract from the swelling. Now this treatment is EXTREMELY effective but you will need 2 sessions of it. Go for a consultation because i am not a clinician but from my experience it is an amazing treatment and the results are great.

I haven't done either but I am very interested in plastic surgery, and every plastic surgeon I've researched is against cool sculpting. Look up Dr. Cat Begovic she has info on it. Basically it will work but create very hard scar tissue, making it very difficult to have other surgery in the future. It's up to you in that bothers you or not

So I've had cool sculpting in a couple area's and some work better than others. For example my lower abdomen looks great after 2 sessions. I had a dent from my jeans. Hard to explain but it's now flat. I also did my inner thighs, not much of a difference. I also don't want to spend $2k on just one area.

I want to get my double chin done because from losing weight I actually have loser skin more than "volume". My lady for cool sculpting told me herself that I could do it if I want but there isn't enough fat to know if it will really make a big difference. I had a kybella consult yesterday and they think I'll be a great candidate but will need 2 sessions. So make sure you're a good candidate first. Good luck!!
