Anyone ever use Fairy Berries?

Mrs. Reese's Pieces, on September 27, 2011 at 10:04 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 22

I would like some cute lighting for the outside of my venue when it starts to get dark out and found these. I think they're super cute! Especially since they give a fairy/firefly effect... I LOVE FAIRIES!

Anywho... has anyone ever seen these or used these before?

Here is the link...

and this is how they would look... but will be placed outside on trees and the deck area.

They look really neat, but I've never heard of them, I'm tempted to buy a set to see them up close.

I don't know how well they would show though... our ceremony is going to be at 4... I think it will be too much light for you to really notice it then. But it would be pretty awesome if it was darker out!

I'm actually planning some of my decor for post-sunset. Our wedding ceremony will be around 5 and the sun doesn't set until 8, but something like these lights would look so pretty if they came on as the sun was setting.

    Hi Ms. Pieces and All,

May I comment. And if I sound to much like a salesman, please forgive me. Being the source of the product, I can't help but say a few words.

Yes, the darker the better. I recently talked to an event company owner that used 500 Fairy Berries at a large inside wedding reception venue, hanging from the ceiling. In short, she said the guests, not to mention the bride and groom, thought they were awesome and were the hit of the party. They also used them in their floral centerpieces.

The slow fade in and out light sequence of such a tiny light is absolutely eye pleasing. They are really a unique lighting effect.

I suggest ordering a sample box of 10 pieces from your favorite on line retailer, local event company or professional wedding planner. Test before you invest, so to speak. But I can't imagine that anyone would be disappointed.

If you are disappointed, email me at ***@***************.***

    Cheers!

These look pretty awesome! One thing to consider is your time...you may want to consider hiring a decorator to do this for you. Since each berry has to be hung and turned on individually, if you are doing very many, it will be a very time consuming process. Some decorators may also consider these rental items, so the cost may be a little less going through a decorator. Fortune Products (the supplier) is great to work with, so even if you find a decorator that does not have these, you can refer them to their website and they can purchase them directly.

Thanks Celebrations. I do have a lady that will be taking care of all of the decorations the day of the wedding... showed them to her and she loves them! I think I'm just going to buy a little at a time from now til the wedding so it won't be such a sticker shock.lol

The cheapest I have been able to find them is $17.95/box which to me is pretty great considering the other amounts I saw. I plan on keeping them and using them for other various purposes... I think they will be a great investment.

I'm plannin on using these in my reception as a part of the centerpiece. Everyone has floating candles...but floating colored fairy berries...nobody has even heard of them! I can't wait! I bought one box of them (ended up being almost $30 for one box after shipping) to see if I liked them enough to pay that much. I loved them!! They are so cool! I've been trying to find them used somewhere since you can replace the batteries but I can't find any. Thankfully, my fiance and I like them enought to pay full price.. We'll need a TON of them though.

Good luck! I'd love to see how yours turns out.

If anyone has these and they are wanting to sell some, I would love to purchase some. I am buying some directly from the company, but I need like 500 of them. My fiance and I are having a huge rustic outdoor ceremony and reception and we would love to use them. However, I can't afford to buy 500 from the company directly.

    Thanks!

Are you still looking for fairy berries? I'm using them for my wedding but I didn't want to pay the outrageous price for them so I ordered them directly from a manufacturer. Do you still need them or want them?
