Hello. Has anyone had to reschedule their April wedding, being held at a banquet facility in Massachusetts, due to the 25 people max gathering restriction? Does it apply to these places as well?

I’m not from Massachusetts, but you should contact your venue today. If they are being strict because it’s no longer a recommendation you may have to postpone.

My wedding day is Friday, March 20 in MA. We were planning to move ahead as most of our 85 guests were on board up until about mid-day yesterday. With the news of the 25 guest limit and no restaurant service just broke my FH and my hearts when we watched gov Baker's announcement yesterday. Though I understand all of the precautions it doesn't make it hurt any less for the wedding we've been planning since Jan last year. I just hope people stay compassionate with all of the brides out there, especially going through this. As for me and my FH we are currently hoping to still get married on Fri with just the officiant and our MOH and Best Man and hoping to reschedule the reception.

I rescheduled mine to September 25th! My original date was April 25th and I invited about 300 guests. I didn’t want to wait any longer before I had no choice of another decent date or for it to be cancelled last minute! Good luck!
