Anyone having a Sweetheart Table?

So, we decided on a Sweetheart table. Everyone in the BP is married, except our kids, and I don't want to make married couples eat without their spouse. Anyone else having one? How do you plan to decorate it? I was thinking of glittering the letters for Mr. & Mrs. , and some candles.

I'm having ones. All bridal party members are married, so they should

Be able to sit with their husbands/wives. Also, we want to be at a table by ourselves

I'm having a sweetheart table and I've seen that at a lot of the weddings I've attended.

I am either doing the 'Mr. and Mrs' letters or getting a sequin tablecloth and just doing flowers and votives. I'm just waiting to see what I can get for a better deal.

We are doing one. I feel that it's very awkward to ask the spouses/families of the bridal party to eat alone. I've been on the other side of that a few times and it puts the bridal party members in a tough spot. Plus our best man will have a very new baby and they will be first time parents so asking his wife to handle things all alone seems a bit much. We found a half round table through an event rental place and I am very excited about it. Unsure of the decorations for it but I am loving the Mr & Mrs signs.

I didn't read the comments, but I can tell you that sweetheart tables, in our area (NYC suburbs) are the norm. In the last 3.5 years, I think we've done one head table for the two brides and their attendants. Beyond that, every single reception has featured a sweetheart table. For weddings that I've attended as a guest -- it's been a majority of sweetheart tables.

We're having a sweetheart table! We're thinking of doing a white couch though and a table instead of just the chairs if that makes any sense. I'm thinking of decorating the table with a simple Mr&Mrs with hopefully some rose pedals. I say hopefully because I know my venue had a weird policy about rose petals. Here's the Pinterest inspiration

We are getting a 4 ft table. We will have 2 cocktail tables on both sides of us. One for the cake & one for the gifts. We are also on a small platform that lifts electronically. ☺
