Anyone NOT Doing A Country Song for a 1st Dance?

I understand country is the go to genre for romantic dances, but it's not our genre of choice. Is anyone out there NOT doing a country song for their first dance? We were planning on "Oh, It is Love" by Hellogoodbye! even though it's not really dance-able. I also have nooo idea where to begin with...

We are dancing to "Red on A Rose" Alan Jackson BUT if I had to pick a non country song it would be "Your Song" Elton John! or "Turn me on" Norah Jones

Our first dance song is "You and Me" by Lifehouse.. My father/daughter dance is "Daddy" by Kendra Payne.. Our last dance song is "Tangled up in You" by Staind (which would make a good first dance song as well).......

I love Hello Goodbye! Our first dance was Savage Garden - I Knew I Loved You. It was really between that and Savage Garden's Truly, Madly, Deeply(which we decided to do for the postlude at the ceremony instead)... but we had a lot of choices(like Sister Hazel, etc) we narrowed it down from.

I'm not doing a country song, I'm doing a song from one of my favorite disney movies, we're stuck between one from beauty and the beast, and one from the Lion King... not sure yet, we have a while to figure it out though...

We are going with Calling You by Blue October. Saw this song acoustic and fell in love with it!

Close contenders: Adele, 'One and Only or "Lovesong". I want to walk down the aisle to One and Only....

Still stuck on the F/D song.. My father and I havent had the smoothist relationship and most of those songs are too overly-lovey....

Fergie's Finally is a good one. That is going to be our last dance. First dance is a country song though (God Gave Me You), and walking down the aisle to Train's Marry Me.

I want to learn a tango to go with the verison of Roxanne from Moulin Rouge (even if it's not super appropriate! lol), FH wants Come What May, also from Moulin Rouge. We haven't decided yet. I'm probably having no country whatsoever lol I don't think I'm having a Father/Daughter dance so I'm not much help there!

Father/Daughter dance.. I just can't make up my mind.

Andrea R, my FH said that he would love to do a tango to Roxanne at our wedding too! I just looked at him and said, do you know what that song is about? Funny that you brought that up.
