Anyone not doing a wedding band with their engagement ring?

Do whatever you feel most comfortable in. My ring sticks out a bit cause of the size, so most days I'll wear just the band. Bands aren't too expensive so I'd buy it to have cause you may change your mind down the line.

This is a personal choice, so whatever you feel comfortable with. To me, they have separate meanings, so I am going to have both. I view it as an engagement ring signifies you are engaged and a wedding band signifies that you are married. I think of it as the purpose of this jewelry is to publicly announce your marital status to others. But that's just me.

I wear my wedding band alone because it doesn't match with my e ring and also the e ring is far more cumbersome

My sister wears her rings on opposite hands, idk if you’d thought of that possibility?

It's personal choice, I plan on swapping out my rings from time to time. For the most part I'll probably just wear my wedding band and wear my e-ring for special occasions.

It's a personal decision. I love my engagement ring and it's a shape where getting anything that would fit right with it would cost an arm and a leg so we're strongly considering no wedding band or a cheap costume jewelry wedding band just for the day and then to put away for special occasions only.

I will probably wear my wedding band alone most of the time because I’m not big on wearing lots of jewelry and I feel like I catch my e-ring on things constantly. It’s really up to you what you prefer to wear and how you want to wear it.

I didn't want one for a long time. My engagement ring is kind of unique, the matching band doesn't look symmetrical and if I got one on each side it would be super bulky which I'm not a fan of. After awhile, I realized I'd want a band too. I ordered a very simple silver dainty band.

Hi! I have a separate wedding band that can't be worn with engagement ring. Both were my grandmother's, but they don't go together if that makes sense. I don't think it's too uncommon to wear one and not the other.

You can only wear one of you want, swap em out depending on what you're doing.
I have my grandmothers wedding ring as my engagement ring and will be getting an entirely new custom wedding ring. I'd probably wear my grandmothers ring in fancy occasions.
