You can wear whatever you are comfortable in (in my book). I like to dress up (a little), but I'm not going overboard on my dress. I will wear something I already have, but still look "nice".

I'm not. It's a casual affair though, just pizza and beer in our hotel room. We didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so no point in dressing up. It just seems like one more unnecessary wedding event. I agree with feeding people, but I don't think it needs to be extravagant. That's what the wedding is for.

I may wear my white lace dress (too short for a real dress) with some jeans. Smiley smile You don't need to wear a dress Smiley smile

Jeans and sweatshirt here. Rehearsal dinner is BBQ at the loft apartment at the venue.

Not I... We're planning on a super casual rehearsal dinner with food frm a yummy local peruvian spot. I will be the belle of the ball a day later so I really see no need.

I doubt we will really dress up, casual business level. Our dinner is a local family pizza joint after rehearsal.

I have been to many a rehearsal that involved jeans and tshirts. You do not need to dress up.

We are actually going to be decorating the reception and ceremony locations. I am gong to let people know what time we are decorating and if they want to help they are more than welcome. After the decorating us done we will practice the ceremony and after go eat pizza a block away.

We didn't. Our "rehearsal dinner" was just pizzas ordered in to the place where we and all our guests were staying. We didn't have an actual rehearsal, so the idea was to have some informal time with out-of-town family we don't see very often.

I might dress up if we have a BS, but the rehearsal will be in my back yard (since my wedding is 1.5 hours away) & i will probably be barefoot, have food on my shirt (b/c I'm cooking a large amount of spaghetti & salad for everyone) & have on jeans or shorts...lol

We booked a nice restaurant downtown since we are a small group. So we decided to all dress up and have fun with it. It gave me an excuse to buy a fancy dress that I'll wear again (as opposed to the wedding dress).

If you are looking for nice dresses at a fraction of the cost, don't go to Nordstrom orDillard's. Try 6pm.com

I hate dressing up and told everyone I wasn't going to and to dress however they felt comfortable. I guess It depends on the place you're going to but wear whatever you want. It's all about you anyway.

I'm probably just going to wear something I'd wear to church (dress or skirt and blouse) and tell my MOH to do the same. I may buy a new dress if I see something cute at a good deal. I'm not going to buy something super fancy. I'll tell my guests to do the same. Our wedding is at a church, and I'm not sure where the future in-laws will hold the rehearsal dinner. It won't be at a fancy restaurant anyway, because we're not fancy people. I think we should feel like ourselves, because we're going to get very dressed up the next day Smiley smile

We are more than likely having our rehearsal party at a beach house down here so it will be super casual. I will probably wear a sundress or a cute but casual skirt/top. I pretty much live in skirts and dresses when its warm out anyway though. From my experience, laid back rehearsal parties or more fun than a stuffy dinner somewhere anyway- easier to mingle!

I'm not wearing a dress. I think I'm just gonna wear black dress pants and a white lacy top. (I just don't feel like buying another dress just for a rehearsal) haha

I plan to wear a short white dress. But I don't really consider that dressing up, as I wear dresses a lot And am very comfortable in then and it will be a pretty casual dress. Other people are welcome to wear jeans. But I do know some of my bridal party will be coming straight from work so they will be in business dress.

I think it depends on what your doing and the place. If its a casual BBQ with just family and close friends you can just go with whatever makes you feel comfortable. My rehearsal dinner will be at my moms house and everyone will be dressing up but we dress up for everything even if its casual, even if its to go buy milk.

I'm not 100% on what I'm going to wear, maybe a maxi or something if I find one I like by then. we're just doing a quick walkthrough, then philly cheesesteaks & tiramisu at my house after so no need to dress up. if I was going out somewhere I probably would.
