Anyone NOT having a honeymoon?

We probably are not having a honeymoon... we really need to save money. lol

Were not doin or HM until 3 mos after the wedding.

We were just about to book our HM to Hawaii for 6 days 7 nights and I got fired from my job which was paying for the honeymoon. So we are hopping on the harley a couple days after the wedding and just gonna ride were ever it takes us.

Candy T....That is very much a honeymoon! I hope we get to ride while we are in Vermont.

Yeap, no honeymoon for us either hoping we might have a couple of days to spend together afterwards, he might not be able to have the time off and I will be in school. Besides that his son his graduating and starting college, and we trying to buy a house. A honeymoon just not in the budget anytime soon.

I am not having a honeymoon right after I am getting marry. After a few months it will be probably one day at the local beach. we are very happy because we love each other and understand our financial situation.

For us, the honeymoon was the most important thing, we saved money for it before we saved money for the wedding. But I think a lot of people these days either decide to not have one or decide to have one later. This kind of economy...

Because both of us have not too much time,we hold our wedding in a place that we like very much. That is to say, we don't have a honeymoon.But it doesn't matter.After all, both of us like traveling. We can enjoy ourselves!

We didn't have one. And my son and his wife didn't have one, either.

We are delaying ours until the end of the year.

Too much going on to pay for a vacation. We were planning on staying somewhere close for a few days, but that didn't happen.

We went up to Reno the following weekend though, wasn't planned but I guess you could call that a mini moon! =]

Yeah, no honeymoon either.

I really wanted one, but it was a choice of wedding, or elope and get the honeymoon. Somehow, I was outvoted and we're having a wedding. We are checking into the nicest hotel in town (in its nicest room), and are going out to eat at an expensive place we would NEVER eat at otherwise, lol. But that's the extent of our honeymoon. I'm adjusted to it now because I am so excited to finally move in with him. That in itself will feel like a honeymoon.

We arnt doing one right away. We are paying for the wedding and were both in our early 20s so theres no way we can afford it right now. =(

Nope we're broke and have a baby so i cant leave him yet. also no vacation time. he said next year we'll go which is nice because i was just assuming we werent doing anything

Yeah we arent having a Honeymoon either. We are paying for our own wedding and bought a house so finances are tight, and also we are taking a week off around the wedding so we wont have the vacation time. We are planning a trip next year sometime but I dont know if we will call it a honeymoon.

As far as the baby. Try and not feel bad about taking time to yourself. Parents need it. My FH and I went to Cancun for a 3 day weekend when our son was 7 months. His Grandma wanted sometime with him and we needed some alone time. We missed him like crazy but it was good, and we came back so refreshed!!

We're not exactly sure what we are going to do yet, but I don't see a traditional HM in our future. We have two kids, are trying to save for a house, and need new vehicles. Plus, the only place I really wanted to go is Egypt and that's a no go with the politics the way they are. Maybe we'll just get a hotel for a weekend or so. We need some one on one time. With him working 3rd shift and having kids we don't get any of that.

We will do the 1 yr honeymoon. Im thinking maybe like a weeekend at the dells

or something ...

We are taking my boys to Florida so they can spend the summer with their dad, so while we don't get a honeymoon, we will have a kid free summer our first few months together.

We're not having one either. We might have summer classes right after the wedding, and then I'll be applying to a nursing program, and he will transfer to a 4-year college. We don't have time or the money. We might have a mini-moon, and then do something big for our anniversary.
