Anyone not wearing a veil?

Hello I was wondering if anyone else are not feeling the whole veil look? And if you didn't wear one did you regret it later looking back on pictures. For me I didn't like the way I looked in a veil and thinking maybe just a hair clip will look good with the hairstyles I want ( I'll insert pic ideas) . Thank you have a good weekend

No veil for me but it's very subjective.

I had no interest in wearing a veil and I don't regret not wearing a veil one bit!

Mrs. Fall Bride you look beautiful with one!

I plan to wear a cathedral length one. I think they dramatic and stunning. At no point will it cover my face, so I see nothing wrong with it. It completes the bridal look, IMO.

I struggled with the idea. I either wanted to wear a cathedral style veil or not one at all. But since my dress was so long & I had a lace detailed back I opted not to wear one. I don’t regret it. However, I did wear a headband because I wanted something in my hair. I struggled with that idea also because I wasn’t sure I really liked it & it hurt my head, but looking back I’m glad I wore it. It just gave my hairdo a little something extra.

I wore my Mom's, but I don't know that I would have worn one if hers had been messed up (she never had it cleaned/preserved, so it lived in a bag for 45 years) but it was in fantastic shape - by the same token if hers had been a problem, I don't know if I would have found one I loved.

If you don't feel a veil, you should wear a beautiful clip, and rock it Smiley smile

I want to wear the longest cathedral veil with a blusher that I can find.

I am not going to wear one. Especially when I saw the ones that I actually liked were just about as much as the dress!

I initially thought about where a hat rather a veil... then i put one on when I'm trying on dresses and it felt right... yet I still haven't bought one so I think I'm on the fence about it.

If the perfect one comes by and the right price, yes. If not, no regrets Smiley smile

I didn't, and I don't regret it. The symbolism sucks, and I didn't want to buy one just for a few hours.

I didn't think I wanted one until my consultant put one on me during dress shopping. I felt like it just completed my look.

Originally I had planned to do just a hair clip or something. I do not like flower crowns or tiaras at all. I may still get a pretty clip to wear for the reception after I take my veil off.

I thought I wanted one, bought it. But no I've changed my mind, I really just don't like the way it looks with my dress. I will have my hair down with a fancy headband.

A half-face veil is coming with my dress, but I'm not sure if I will wear it. Leaning more towards just doing a flower in my hair. You should do whatever feels right to you.

I wore one for my first wedding. Honestly it was more trouble than it was worth. The pictures were okay, but I kept feeling like it was in the way. I don't plan to wear one this time.

I wore one. It was a fingertip veil with a blusher but I kept the blusher back so at no point did it cover my face and the veil had more volume with extra later. I loved it. I looked and felt more bridal. The original plan was to take it off for the reception and I wore it all night to the after party and back to our room. The symbolism sucks but I wasn’t wearing it for the symbolism and no one in attendance would ever think I did. However, totally not necessary, there are some beautiful hairpieces out there!

I can't decide if I want a veil or not. Originally I just wanted to do a headband or comb or something, but now I'm thinking I may want one.

No veil here and no regrets, my dress was not designed to be bridal so matching a veil felt forced
