Hello I was wondering if anyone else are not feeling the whole veil look? And if you didn't wear one did you regret it later looking back on pictures. For me I didn't like the way I looked in a veil and thinking maybe just a hair clip will look good with the hairstyles I want ( I'll insert pic ideas) . Thank you have a good weekend

I went without a veil because of the back of my dress, plus a veil just wasn't for me.

I felt *very* strange when I tried on a long veil, but loved a birdcage veil so I will be making my own!

I've known from the beginning that I didn't want a veil- as a general rule, anything that can potentially get caught on/tangled in my hearing aids is NOT wise. I do want something on my head, though, so I'm going with a circlet.

No veil for me! It's traditional but outdated for our modern ceremony. I'm just doing a half up-do with a large crystal headpiece.

    Hello!

I work at a bridal salon as well as am a bride. While I am wearing a veil, I see more and more brides choose not. The one thing I can say is how do you feel in a veil? do you feel like it finishes your look? or do you feel goofy and not yourself? If your answer is the later than that's OK! Its your day and you should feel and look like you. Don't feel pressured to wear a veil.

At first I loved the classic traditional veil idea but once I bought my dress that changed. My dress has a lot of detail on it that the veil would either hide or be too much so I’m going for a low bun hair style with a head piece or clip.

I'm definitely leaning towards no veil, unless I end up getting married in the church (which I know it's a bit late to be choosing whether or not to do that, but oh well).

I'll be wearing a veil for the ceremony and for pictures. It will come off for the reception. I like the drama of the veil and looking for something different that will add some interest too. I mean when else can you wear a veil and it be appropriate?

I won't have a blusher (the veil that goes over the face). i feel that is really unnecessary and wouldn't trust my guy to remove it gracefully haha

Nope. No veil. I'm wearing a headband. But i have a pixie and thought a veil looked weird with that and my dress

I went from not wanting to wear a veil to only wearing one during the ceremony to wearing one all night. I simply just forgot to take it off lol. I also wore a headpiece. Both I got from https://cassandralynne.com/ I did however take first look pictures with out a veil. It rained in the morning, so I lost some curls before the ceremony, so wearing the veil all night turned out great for me.

I am not wearing a veil. I felt very very uncomfortable. Instead I'm wearing a Feather Veil. I'm having a Native American wedding so a veil is not tradition. I'm making it myself. and it will be a feather lined braid back With braided leather tie back with white with black tipped Eagle feather as my veil. Dream catcher clip to tie it all together in the back Smiley heart I'll show you what i mean because I couldn't find an EXACT picture of it all put together.

A lot more but White and Eagle Feathers Dangling down my hair.Anyone not wearing a veil? 3

I’m not wearing a veil. I’m bald and don’t want it to look like a poor attempt to hide that fact, and I never much appreciated the symbolism of the veil.

I bought a super simple veil, and i still dont know if im going to actually wear it. if i dont, no losses - it was $12. if i wear it, its only for the ceremony and nothing else.

I’m having a birdcage veil a pretty clip that will weave in with my updo.

I’ve always loved them. They just look kind of glamorous and add a touch of drama, while feeling a little less innocent-looking than more traditional veils, if that makes any sense.

The first half of our day will be spent sailing and it will be WINDY. So I'm skipping a veil since I figure it will just be flopping around and will wear a headpiece that was my FMILs.
