Has anyone ever ordered from The Dessy Group? Just wondering the quality?

My BMs dresses are from Dessy. We haven't gotten them in yet, but I used to work as a bridal consultant in Charlotte and we carried The Dessy Group and the dress quality was great.

I definitely love Alfred Sung, which is what my girls are wearing. The quality is great and the prices are lower than the other designers in The Dessy Group.

Basically they are similarly priced to the BMs dresses from David's Bridal but much better quality, IMHO

We ordered Afred Sung whom I found on Dessy.com. It sends to you retailers of your preferred dresses, I would look at reviews of the particular salons once you find the ones in your area...

My salon for my BM SUCKSSSSS, but the salon where we got my MOB dress also carried Alfred Sung and they were so nice I wish I had done a little more resarch, and/or understood the differences between salons before we booked with the BM salon

Dessy.com itself was wonderful for me its how I found the BM dress that was different and NOT chiffon (which I can't stand)

Thanks for the input. Can they be ordered online via their website or I need to go through a salon. I am in Germany and my BMs are scattered throughout the US. Do you feel the sizes range smaller or bigger in your opinion?

Yes! We ordered from the After Six line using herecomesthebridesmaid.com . They are beautiful, great quality, and came in in great condition. You definitely want to pay attention to the sizing chart and measure carefully because they do use the "bridal sizing" where someone who is typically say a size 6 might need a size 10.

My girls are going to be ordering from Dessy!

It's actually the Alfred Sung D401. My Matron of Honor and I are going out tomorrow to order her dress. Super excited about it! Smiley smile

A representative from the website actually emailed me once when I inquired to one of their stores about the dress (the store never responded, so the representative contacted me)... I wish I still had the email, but I think the rep mentioned that if I couldn't find that particular dress, I could order it from them.

They are definitely bridal sizes...if your BM can, I'd suggest you have them find a salon just to get an idea.. one of my BM is a size 2/4 normally but she is hippy. By the size chart, her biggest part was having her order a 12....the salon suggested a 10....she tried on another BM size 6 and it was still too big, so she ordered a 4....My MOH wears a size 10 noramlly and needed to order a 16 in the dress...

bridal is so unpredictable I think they should try the style on to get an idea, or seriously research/call dessy.com to figure out what happens if they don't fit appropriately. They are probably more than willing to help.

I wore a Dessy Group Alfred Sung dress in Dupioni in my sister's wedding. It fit really well and was comfortable, but to be honest the material felt a little cheap. It was kind of scratchy and didn't sit on our bodies like other fabrics might -- even though I know it's intended to mirror raw silk.

We were in the dark purple and it was actually pretty bright. Each of the 4 bridesmaids wore a different style and it looked great together. You can't beat those prices too!

I agree, my bridesmaids are wearing alfred sung dresses. They are each wearing the same color but different styles and they went to salons to try them on, some ordered from the salons and some ordered online through weddingtonway.com.

I was in a wedding that had a Dessy dress. The quality was good. It was a lavender color, charmeuse (sp) material. I didn't really care for the material because when my bouquet touched the dress it left water spots, that never really disappeared.
