Anyone planning a traditional, romantic (not rustic) low budget one?

Anyone else still trying for traditional with flowers and a church and a reception hall sort of wedding while keeping it low budget?
It’s frustrating seeing all these articles about low budget focusing on cutting out the meal or doing a destination wedding.

My wedding is a completely different theme, but have you thought about doing fake flowers for decor? They're a lot cheaper. Or, I've heard of people buying local flowers at grocery stores or Costco. Look at thrift stores for other decor. Buy a second hand or off the rack dress. Have a smaller bridal party to save money on gifts.
I honestly don't know what a traditional wedding entails since I've never been to one, but rustic weddings can add up in price too. There's ways to DIY items that don't look rustic if you are creative. Is there anything specific you're looking for?

I think the biggest issues people run into is the cost of things where they live and how many guests they have. At a traditional wedding venue where I live, a full meal and bar is going to cost at least $100pp so if you have 100 guests that’s over $10,000 with tax and service charges before you’ve gotten anything but the venue and meal taken care of. That’s not super budget friendly. A lot of traditional venues also require count minimums which makes it harder if you’re on a budget.

I opted to do only fake flower bouqets that I made myself, and do candles for my other decor. I picked a venue that I could use for both the ceremony and reception that allowed outside catering. I'm not doing a rustic theme. Hope this helps.

Call me old school, we’re having a church wedding with our reception held in the church fellowship hall. The reason for it so I could save money and get everything else we wanted. We’re getting the catering company we want, DJ, were using real flowers from Sam’s Club. Our wedding cost is still under 5k.

Yes. I did this. I cut out florals except bouquets and boutonnieres. That helped a lot. I decided limited alcohol. And pretty much no decor.

I am doing artificial flowers and having everything in my ballroom venue! Getting married in a church wasn't a deal breaker for us, and it was so much cheaper to get married at the same venue! Our venue, photographer and attire will be less than 10k!
