Anyone remember the TV show four weddings on TLC?

I see it on TLC every now and then, but not on a regular basis, so I think they may have cancelled it! =( they have some other great ones though. Their new show, bride by design, is great! ETA: autocorrect changed TLC to roc...weird...lol

I watched bride by design for about five minutes one night and fell asleep. I'm gonna start watching it! And that sucks about four weddings. I liked it!

This was the one wedding related show I watched regularly. I have been checking TLC to see when it will come back.

Has anyone watched curvy brides yet?

I saw a preview for curvy brides, and it looked super cute, but I don't remember when it's airing, or if it has started already!

I checked the website. It's currently not on schedule. It didn't say it was cancelled, thankfully, but it also didn't say when if would return. I don't understand how Four Weddings is not on schedule, but 19 Kids and Counting is still on.

I was expecting more out of jessa'a wedding on 19 kids and counting. And yay! Four weddings isn't cancelled! Hopefully next season!

I loved watching Four Weddings, when I was first engaged I loved to watch it and so did my FH! Now it's all shows about the dress, I want to see more about the weddings. I know a lot of people didn't like it because it's mean to judge things that are personal to the couple and people would say things like "I'm going to give the wedding a five because the chairs just weren't really fancy" and like lame stuff like that. But it was always funny and I actually got some great insight from it. Watching dress shows isn't as interesting after this much time. I have watched Curvy Brides and it's cute, a lot more tame than SYTTD as far as crazy drama. It's fun, but bring back four weddings!!!

I've heard so much about Four Wedding on here and I'm so curious about it (I don't have TV) I hope it's on Netflix!

My daughter and I loved 4 Weddings. I hope they bring it back!!

It was a guilty pleasure. A pleasure because I got to see so many different types of weddings without actually having to leave the house, and guilty because I found so many of the brides to be so ridiculously judgmental. I still remember three brides walking around outside a wedding venue after the sun had gone down. The bride getting married had set up these tall cylinder vases with those blue mini lights at the bottom and lined a pathway with them. There was some other clear substance in the vase, and I remember one of the brides actually reaching her hand inside the vase and pulling out Saran wrap that the bride had used in place of those clear acrylic rocks (apparently a money saving decision). They really laughed about that (you know, "OMG...so tacky, who does that?") and it kind of felt wrong . The other thing I couldn't stand was the constant complaining about food they were served.

It used to be on Netflix, but they got rid of it.

I loved to get ideas from it. I live in AZ and a lot of guests were in AZ.

@Centerpiece...wow that is insane!! Oh and the food was never good enough! There were people that had mashed potato bars, candy bars, three types of cuisine and they'd say "I felt like the food was too overwhelming". And then the next one would have your standard plated meal and they'd say "It's just kind of average, and the potatoes are too lumpy" it's like you could never please them!! At least the venues I checked out, they all came with catering, I booked the venue for things other than the food and didn't know what the food was like until after my deposit. So I think food is sort of unfair to judge on, it's not always up to the bride and groom.

FH found this one from Australia that he downloaded and it was basically the same concept with slight variations and the brides on there were MEAN!! Like someone had like a $10k dress and it was gorgeous and fit her well and fit with the venue and the other brides still had some bad things. At least on the American one they were usually polite and if they didn't care for it they'd say something like "Oh her dress was really pretty, but kind of surprised me because I expected maybe something more grand for her" but they'd never say like it was hideous. So that was definitely a funny episode!

They just had a new season end so they are probably getting ready to start filming the new season.

I was on the first episode they showed in the USA; I didn't know the premise (or the title for that matter) when I referred my brides, or I never would have done it. My couple did a lovely, fairly low key wedding that was perfect for them and their family (they had three small kids) and the other girls were really mean to her (fortunately, they liked the ceremony....) She was insulted and hurt, and honestly, I'd never invite that kind of public criticism when it's such an emotional day.

On some of the other shows, the brides are semi-nice but the comments are just downright asinine sometimes..it was hot...the ceremony was in Greek (well, duh), I thought her dress would be fancier. Just shut up. OMG too; I remember the Saran Wrap!

I loved that show, (as usual) @centerpiece is right,they ALWAYS had an issue with the food.

I think I read about Four Weddings casting recently, so it's not cancelled. I would never go on it. It was entertaining to watch at times but the whole point of it was to rate and judge other weddings so it always felt a little mean.

I know someone who was on the show. They had a lovely wedding that fit them so perfectly. Their venue does not allow shot of alcohol, and that's all the other three would complain about. It's ridiculous how petty and mean women can be, and this show encourages that! I stopped watching for that reason.

Just as an aside, most of our venues don't allow shots any more. It's a pretty common rule.
