Anyone try Sam's Club Macarons?

A Bride, on July 2, 2016 at 12:31 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 7

I saw bulk 30 or 40 something count mini macarons in the refrigerated section at Sam's Club and was thinking of going back to buy them if they are still there for my wedding in about a month? Has anyone tried them? Are they any good?

I thought they were alright, but extremely pricey for frozen macaroons. Have you talked to a local bakery?

I was not planning on getting macarons from a bakery to include in our dessert table and am fine with the amount of snacks we will have, but for the price I saw at Sam's Club, I was considering adding them to the table, however we'll be fine without them if not. I live in a very expensive area and the bakeries, although delicious, were more than double the cost per macaron. However, I don't want to waste my money on sub-par macarons so was just wondering if anyone had any positive experiences with them.

Curious to know how much they were at sams club because I'd use them but buy and try them first...I would consider asking their bakery section if they made them fresh there at all as well.

Could you buy a box and try them before hand?

Buy them, taste them, and decide for yourself.

I remembered them being around $20 for about 20-25 of them. Sorry my memory is fuzzy, since it's been awhile ago. They were colorful and cute, but compared to fresh ones (and spending a semester in France) they were just alright. Just my opinion!
