Anyone use or attempting to use a gopro to video parts of their wedding?

I am really interesting in learning more about this. We are probably skipping a videographer, but would still love to have our vows and some of the fun on video. I have seen mentioned a few times about people using go pros. Can you share your ideas on how you got your vows recorded and any other fun...

I am really interesting in learning more about this. We are probably skipping a videographer, but would still love to have our vows and some of the fun on video. I have seen mentioned a few times about people using go pros.

Can you share your ideas on how you got your vows recorded and any other fun stuff you videoed. Any tips would be great!

Also what kind of go pro do you have?!

    We just bought the newest one. You're more than welcome to borrow it to test it out if you want. We have only used it a few times, but we're going to pick up an attachment to anchor it to a branch behind us at the ceremony. We're also having a videographer.

    We are strapping it to our officiant too!! the FH is into extreme sports as well as all his friends so I'm sure someone has a chest mount laying around somewhere!

    I absolutely LOVE this idea. Especially since I am not 100% sure if we will be getting a videographer. For those of you who did do it or are doing it, did you do it in lieu of a videographer? Or in addition to?
