Anyone used paper from staples for invites?

Finally mrs.jkr, on July 23, 2014 at 7:48 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 8

110 lb?

Someone wrote a scathing comment on not being as thick as it's supposed to be and I am nervous on whether or not it will be thick enough

Contina, do you happen to have a pic of how thick it is? Smiley smile

Thanks so much for your response, I know it's kinda a weird question.

Omg I have 110lb and it's heavy card stock, don't know how it can't be thick enough. I will say this as something to remember. I'm using that for my programs and if you are folding it, the task is not easy and it can be too thick to get a perfect crease!!!

not thick enough. I'm sorry but I think someone must have been mistaken on the lbs. Also if you ask them they will give you a sample of the thickness of paper!

Yes, I did. I had mine printed on the pearl shimmery color cardstock and they came out great!

My sister (MoH) used Staples to make invites for her friend's shower last year and they came out very nice. So we're going to design our own invites and go to Staples to print them up.

I did our postcard save the dates on 110 staples paper and it was great! I used the 65lb cardstock for our invitations and that was great too (mine were trifold so the 110 was way too thick to fold without damaging the paper at the crease)

I got 110lb cardstock from paperandmore.com and it was wonderful ($20 for 100 sheets). However, for our programs, I got 110lb cardstock from Michaels, and it is just as good, and with a coupon, I got 100 sheets of it for like $8. Seriously, great deal.

Let us know how it works out if you go that route. That's what I'm planning on too.
