Anyone using empty frames?

I got some cheap wooden ones at Michael's/AC Moore and painted them in my wedding colors. They have a ton of different designs.

You could try old antique shops. Some of those places have really cool frames with ugly pics in them lol. Remove the picture and then you can make the frame unique to you! You can get some great deals at antique stores

It looks like AC Moore is only on the East coast so I think I'm out of luck there.

Thrift shops, consignment shops, antique shops -- reduce, reuse, recycle!

Hobby lobby. I got 2 big white ones and painted them blue to match our colors. Then I put in a canvas I'd painted with chalkboard paint. Going to use them to put our bar menu/signature drinks on.

Besides thrift stores (which can be very cost effective) I've seen Joanne's stores also carry decorative frames just like the one shown in your photo. It's white and all you have to do it paint it if needed.
