April ‘22 Brides: Anyone Freaking Out Yet?

May 14 so close to April, but yes I quit planning because we bought a house and have been moving and stuff, so time to get back on that wagon. I just keep my checklist close, and try to move at least one thing per week to the "done" side!

April 29th here and just getting back into it! We postponed a year and had a lot of major things booked already so it’s just down to details now. I find looking back through photos of things like my venue, table settings, flowers, and putting on my dress help me see the whole vision and come back to planning. I also reorganized my to do list and budget, which always helps motivate me a bit!

I’m on the same boat. I’m stressing so bad because I cannot find a DJ available 😭

April 2nd. Oh yes, I'm freaking out. My Mother is like, "You have it all together Keesha, stop stressing!" I just feel as if I'm at stand still. I guess.

April 16th and I am completely freaking out. My venue has a jukebox for music but as I am making a play list I wish I would have budgeted for a DJ. Also I am now starting to search for a day of coordinator because now I feel like that’s necessary.

April 30th here and I feel the same way. I have found out I’m pregnant and due Feb 25th so planning has gotten harder for me because everything I wanted to do I’m not sure if I’ll be able to. We had a “field day” planned for out bachelor parties with the families but since I’m not sure I’ll be ready for that now I’m trying to find an alternative, on top of that one of my bridesmaids is pregnant also and she’s due on my due date. So it’s so hard to figure little things when I’m not sure what will be going on. So far I have the basics invitations, location, flowers, photographer, music, food and bar but I haven’t done a tasting yet to know what food I want. Cake I have scheduled to be handled this month and wedding favors I already got also just have to spice them up a little. Besides that decorations and signage and all the little things is what I’m stressing about getting done.


We got this though make a list of what you need and spread it out to give yourself time. I think that’s what I’m going to try and do! It’ll come together somehow!

I’m so over this wedding right now I don’t even want to think about I feel like there is fire all around me, but I’m fine. Also my fiancé is driving me crazy.

I'm getting married on April 08!!! And we last minute moved up from 2023 to next year so I am definitely behind the game!


We have venue/catering, and I just booked my photographer. So still in need of jFlowers OfficiantDecor (trying to diy a bunch/goodwill)
I have my bridal party however my fiance is taking his sweet time on asking his guys! We don't have alot of time !!

Mine is in April 29th! We have a lot of things planned so now it's a little slower haha. We have venue booked, temple scheduled, photographer and videographer booked, the decor and tables are provided in the venue. We have a photobooth to substitute wedding flavors and have the cake figured out. Need to send out invites and figure out food (that's the hardest one for us at the moment)

I’m feeling the same way. My wedding planner keeps saying I’m ahead of the game but I don’t feel like I am! I can’t believe we’re less than 6 months away 😱

Yes I’m getting married April 23 and I’m really starting to realize the time is winding down

I’m April 9th and feel so behind! I took a break for a while because I felt it was too far out this past spring, now I’m stressed! We had our menu tasting and our venue coordinator said we are way ahead of the game, but I just don’t feel that way. I need to find a DJ and hair and makeup still, get back in contact with our invitation person because July was too early to order invitations. When I get stressed I shut down don’t do anything and that is not realistic for a wedding!! 😂

My wedding is April 30th. So far I booked a photographer and food but I have to change my venue. We want something simple but I feel I have lots more to do. I'm lost but excited. I feel I may forget something.

Our ceremony will be outside, weather permitting, in their open green space in front of the woods. I’m focusing on springtime as a theme with lots of greens and pink and gold accents.

Hey April 23rd here and I'm in the same boat, started back to work full time after my deployment and everything fell to the wayside. Main thing I'm trying to keep in mind is that day of if something doesn't work out no one will know but me. It's helping with the stress a bit. Good luck with your planning!
