APRIL weddings!

I am! I am half done, still working on centerpieces and other little details.

Hi! I am an April bride! I am not done with everything either! What things do you have left to do??

Have you sent invites yet?

I still need to do these things

Flowers, bridesmaids gifts, get a veil, headpiece, candy table, order my cake.

Am I really behind?

I have not sent the invites either. I was planning on sending them in Feb (my wedding is 4/27). My goal is to get them all addressed and ready by the end of the month. But I haven't even started yet!

I also still need to get my bridesmaids gifts and all my accessories except my veil. I also haven't finalized the details like table numbers, favors, programs.

I do not think you are very behind but I would work the flowers and cake next! Are you getting a florist or doing your own flowers

My mom is a florist so she's is doing them, I have to return so she can start, I am done my invites just have to put stamp on them! I'm not doing table numbers so that's one less thing. I am naming the tables after streets which are part of the centerpieces. I was going to send my invites the beginning of feb. and RSVP says by march 6th? My weddding is April 6. I haven't don't favors either I know what I want just haven't don't them. Just freaks me out logging in and says 72 days left which is not to many!

I think I have lost count of how many lists I have haha... Not too many big things left to do just a lot of little things. However, my wedding planning is on hold for the moment because next weekend I'm the Maid of Honor in a friends wedding so all my attention is on her and what she needs at the moment. Come Feb. 4th it's total get my act together time. No other 4/13/13 brides out there???

I still have all the little things to do, but boy do they add up. Finish invites and send them (its a dw so we are sending them early), centerpieces, escort cards, seating chart, still have to get a cake, favors. Im sure there is plenty more!

We also have smaller things to get done, but as Ashley H said, they do add up! Still have to finish stuffing invitations and mail them (mid Feb), escort cards, table name displays, BP gifts, flower girl dresses, Bride and BM dress alterations, hair/mu trial (in Feb), meet with venue and DJ, finalize contract with florist, etc. It's definitely coming up fast! Almost at the 3 month mark! It'll be here before we all know it! Congrats to all the April brides and good luck with the rest of your tasks!

I am a April 27th bride too. I have so much left I am starting to get really nervous. The worst for me is the person who was gonna marry us decided to back out so I don't have an officiant. Everyone I look at on here fire vendors in my area wants hundreds of dollars. Not in my budget right now.

Hi Date Twins and April brides! It seems like my to-do list is always getting bigger, but I feel like I'm in pretty good shape to get everything done. The invitations are here and addressed already. They just need to be assembled and stamped (once I get postage). I plan to mail them on 2/15. I have two florist appts this weekend, so hopefully I can make a decision between the 3 I've met with and book someone next week. I'm looking forward to picking my final menu and linens at the beginning of next month when I go to my venue planning meeting. I had dinner with my MOH yesterday and she informed me that the bridal shower invites are going out soon, so I'm excited about that. :-)

I just can't believe how many of you there are. Last yr, I felt like I was one of a very few.

Something about spring 2013 is popular. Last yr everyone seemed to be getting married in the fall!

im getting married 4/20 lol and i still have a ton leftto do so i better get going lol

I have to finalize with the officiant, pick songs, invites are done just need to get them printed had have a final meeting so max of two weeks, I'm not sending til the end of the month at the earliest, cake I wa stuck on but I do believe I have made my decision and need to go make a deposit.

I need final fitting, groomsmen gifts, cake topper, garter, parent gifts.

I'm making my own flowers, were doing appetizers so I'll have to shop for that. Registering today with FH

And yes I feel behind!!!!

I have April 17-29 off from work, wedding is te 21st so I'll probably be playing catch up! Lol

Complete a few DIY projects (ie Name/Table cards)
Finishing buying candies for sweets table
Pick out ceremony music
Pick out grooms wear
Buy honeymoon clothes and lingerie

Decide on floor plan etc..

Purchase bridesmaids gifts

Plan rehearsal dinner

Find MUA and Hair

Oh and find a pot of gold to pay off all the vendors

Just about done here with my planning. I'm getting ready to order escort cards and table numbers next month and we're also getting wedding bands in a few weeks too.

We already have our final headcount and one annoying item we have to take care of now is to go to the courthouse to get my FI's divorce decree. We already had his certificate of dissolution which is sufficient for the US, but since we're getting married in a British Territory without a waiting period, they are super strict about paper work and they didn't like the way New York state does their corrections on official documents (they do it in handwriting on the official document instead of typing up a new one). It's a pain in the ass, but we want to legally get married there, not here, so we'll comply and get the other papers. Other than that, we're pretty much set!

Lisa, since we're date twins, will you share the pot of gold when you find it???

I'm just glad we're about in the same spot. FH has his suit on lay away and (through the kindness of a boss sharing his bonus) we will go pay it off Friday and then take it for alterations (darn him and his broad shoulders!)

Still have not mailed invites, but I think Early Feb will be good, too. Though, I have not gotten RSVP cards!!! MEEP!!!!

I'm finishing my dress, hopefully this weekend or next, and then have to schedule a "play date" with MOH for a Martha Stewart Madness session

OOOOH AND THAT REMINDS ME... marriage license... I have to go find out which county I need to apply for it in!! We live 1 1/2 hours from the venue and I'm not sure how that works... meh...

We still have to order our cake and setup the catering along with centerpieces and about a million other things. We are going to try to send out our invitations on saturday *crossing fingers* as long as we get them all done. In hopes that people will be nice and just send back RSVP cards right away with the correct # of people(hahaha i make myself laugh sometimes). Hopefully 79 days is enough time to get it all done or else were just going to be missing some stuff oh well...

Done with everything? HA!

All the big things are done, but the devil is in the details. Still have half of the centerpieces to make and other small decor to take care of, invitations to address/mail (2/9), get FH's wedding band, make the favors (he is still experimenting with final rub ingredients), picture list/music/ceremony content to finalize, etc. Finding that my list is getting more detailed the closer we get.

Biggest worry is that my dress, which was supposed to be delivered this month, has still not arrived. Now they are giving date of mid-February. Thankfully, I don't think it will need much in the way of alterations.

AND...expect to get an offer on my house this week, so next few weekends will be for packing/moving. We have not found a new house yet, so looks like my stuff will be in storage temporarily while I "squat" at FH's house for a couple months.

We are leaving honeymoon planning until after we are both moved into new house...will probably go sometime in Aug./Sept.

I'm so glad to know I'm not alone....

Apparently, FH took care of Honeymoon planning yesterday... SNEEEKEEEEE!! I asked him about it because I was kind of suprised that he remembered the name of the place we stayed nearly 2 years ago when he was living in Oklahoma, but he assures me, he has it set... and the more I asked the more he just gave me the "Uhhhhhh" face. Rascal has something planned... *ponder*

Ya know, I think I am going to go write down a "to-do" list... I actually think it will make me feel better...
