My wedding is in April so the girls will be wearing long dresses.

two of the bridesmaids have decided that they would like Pumps with glitter on them, which was fine with me, w.e they dont mind spending $70 on the shoes they picked out, I havent talked to the other two girls about shoes yet just because i know they arent going to want to spent $70 on shoes and not to mention those glitter pumps have a high heel on them, so what do i do ?

I guess i dont really care if their shoes match they are going to be wearing long dresses anyway

I asked them all to pick shoes in the "Bronze" color from the Benjamin Walk company.

I'm not really sure what shoes they will wear...at this time we will all be bare foot because I can't find shoes.

My BMs are wearing long dresses and i've said they can wear whatever they will be most comfortable in! my MOH (Sister) cant wear heels cos she has dodgy knees while my other BM is already 5ft10 tall so doesnt need heels ut still wears them all the same! if they are in long dresses you will barely see them anyway.

Mine aren't. Then again, I had only two BMs--and one of them was male. ;-)

Yes. Because I need everything to match. That's just me. So, all 5 of my girls will be wearing the same shoes and same dress.

Forgot, I want them to have knee length gowns, so you'll be able to see the shoes, that's my main reason for all matching shoes.

My BMs aren't even wearing the same dresses. I may ask them to all get a neutral/nude or metallic shoe, just so one person doesn't have hot pink feet. Smiley smile But otherwise I just want them to be comfortable. Plus, they probably all own something already that will work. One less thing to buy. Smiley smile

My bridesmaids are my daughters so Im sure I'll be paying for the shoes, and I dont care what they choose (to a certain degree ) I too, want their individuality to shine through!Their dresses being the same will be enough continuity for me

Mine aren't, but their dresses will be long so shoes won't be visible anyways. I figured they're already paying for the dress, if they can get away with wearing shoes they already own without spending anymore money then awesome! I'm all for it.

Initially, our ladies wanted to match. But it seemed so much easier to have them in the same color and style shoe that is comfortable for them and they will enjoy wearing again that we went with that. They can get what they desire! Smiley smile

They will all be wearing silver shoes, but they can pick their own styles. Some are not comfortable wearing high heals.

All my girls matched because I asked them to but I let them pick out their own shoes. 2 of the girls wear heels all the time and one can't walk in them to save her life. I did ask for a little bit of a heel because the dress was tea length but the only requirement was they were the same color as the dress. They were walking in them, not me so I figured they could all agree on what shoes they wanted.

You can have the 2 brides that picked out $70 shoes wear the same & then the other 2 brides wear different shoes (preferably same also)

I told my girls black would be fine. At first I thought silver but I kinda like black better with my girls red dresses.

I just think they should at least all be the same color but style doesn't have to be the same whatever is comfortable for them

All my girls are wearing tea length dresses. and flipflops! I am not into heels, and most of my girls aren't either. So my MOH is wearing a guava dress with cornflower flipflops (my 2 wedding colors) and the bridesmaids are wearing cornflower dresses with guava flip flops. At least I think this is what I am doing. Im not 100% sure yet.

I told my girls to buy a white shoe they would be comfortable in. I wanted to be sure they were comfortable, and had some of their own style in their outfits, especially since they all chose the same dress. They also all wore jewelry of their choice. I am not a matchy-matchy person, so it worked out Smiley smile
