Are blue nails too distracting?

I can honestly say, I have never paid attention to anyones nails

I wore a very light pink so it wasn’t super noticeable but my mom when she married my stepdad had BRIGHT pink nails which I loved. Honestly I don’t think anyone really notices anyone’s nails! But I love the idea of breaking out of the normal neutral / French manicure bridal nail design that people did for forever. Do the blue!

If you're going to have a bouquet, a good amount of pictures won't even show your nails. And even in the ones that do, they're such a small space that it won't take away from anything. The only pictures they'll be much of a focus would be any close ups of your/ your fiancé's hands with the rings on, but those are intentionally about your nails/ hands.

Your nails will not be noticed very much but the navy blue is a nice contrast to the white dress. It will be fine for the wedding.

I did my nails a fairly bright teal to match my wedding band. Seemed like a good idea at the time lol


It didn't ruin photos, but it looks a bit out of place in close ups. I'd go for a muted shade to let your ring shine

Do what makes you happy. I wore really light purple nails and I love how it shows up in some photos because purple is my color (wedding and life).

I ended up going with the blue nails and loving them. I got several complements. For those in the future that want to see what they look like in couple pictures (because most of the time they were hidden) here are a few shots.
