Are Chiavari Chairs really worth it?

They're amazing but no one will remember the chairs. Just save the money

Yah the chiavari chairs look awesome but who cares! $1600 is way too much. Your guests will not remember or appreciate that you spent that much on them! Spend your money on food & alcohol so your guests have a great evening with you!

Seriously, no one will remember your chairs. In fact, if your room is set properly, no one will even notice the chairs. They will be looking at other parts of the decor.

Personally, I think chiavari chairs are ugly and look outdated. Lol the tone of my wedding will be just as semi-formal with white folding garden chairs and everyone will have comfier butts!

FH and I would luurrrrvveee to rent them. This is our inspo pic. Buuuut, it would be about $550, which is way less than $1600, but still that's a lot of money. Plus I'm concerned that they may be uncomfortable, as PP have said. We will end up going with slip covers for our venue's ugly chairs, both of which we are getting free at our venue.

I like how they look. Those are the chairs at our venue and I think they are gorgeous. But I'm not paying extra for them, they are just the chairs that they have. $1600 on chairs is ridiculous. I've never been to an event where I was like wow, these chairs are stunning!! No one is concerned about the chairs.

I think they are beautiful but sometimes it come down to budget. My daughter did not like the banquet chairs that were free with the venues so she rented the chivari chairs. lot of money

Save the dough. I am not a fan of chair covers but could not stand the venue banquet chairs luckily I found 100 chair covers to but for 80. Craigslist has good deals

I am SO happy that I found this thread. Our chairs that come with our venue are somewhat ugly, and I was trying to justify spending $$ on chairs but decided at the last minute that no one gives a shit what the chairs look like and to upgrade to a dessert ice cream sundae bar instead....... so glad the rest of WW is on the same page!

don't spend the $1600 on chairs.
