Are paper doily chargers tacky??

I think they look fine. If you love them, that's all that matters.

i don't really think chargers are necessary in general. so you can consider these doilies as place mats really

They can look okay depending on the ones you purchase. We ordered gold ones that ended up being extreme shiny and tacky. We eventually found someone selling their wedding chargers on Facebook Marketplace for 50 cents a piece and jumped on it. Obviously I don’t know your budget, but they also have them at Dollar Tree for $1 each and they’re very easy to resell and make some of your money back.

I don’t think they’re tacky. We’re doing the gold paper doilies with the napkin folded on top of it with a menu card. I think they’re a pretty touch and a good alternative to pricier chargers!

I think they’d be pretty. I agree that chargers are a lot, even going to the dollar store, that’s a dollar per charger, so depending on your guest list, it could still be expensive.

How many do you need? Instead of paying $75 for paper, you can buy inexpensive chargers at Hobby Lobby or Dollar Tree (and sell them afterward). With paper doilies they get used and trashed afterward. Plus they look more like a placemat than an actual charger plate.

I love he paper doilies but remember they can get wet if someone spills something on them and or move around. I did some research for you and found some inexpensive ones. check them out. These are $1 at dollar tree.

Then they have these also dollar tree in gold,silver also.

I like it! I'm a big fan of chargers, but I know those are at least $1 per charger to buy (and sometimes more to rent) so I think the doily is a great alternative. I'd look for better quality ones so they don't rip.

Those metallic ones look really nice! It's a cool added visual design element! ✨
