Are there any other brides to broke for a honeymoon?! I hope Im not alone on this one!

Grrrrrr. This economy sucks... The only reason we were able to afford our wedding in the first place is because we depended on our tax money to do it... So, that left no money for a honeymoon. While at the same time people are sending us money gifts occasionally, we really need a new bed... The FH is sleeping on the floor the past few weeks cause its that bad... So we both agreed a new bed is #1 priority since my fiance has a disabilty and good sleep is crucial to help it... Are there any other ideas as far as honeymoons we could concider... We live in Vegas so it gives us a lot of options but I just have no creativity when it comes to that? Any suggestions ladies?

Current honeymoon situation... Sitting in my living room sulking because I can't have a honeymoon... I know I know I should just get over it, after all I did marry my best friend!

No honeymoon, either. I’m so depressed about it. We were planning on having one, but got swamped with bills and now the husband is worried about the Coronavirus. Ugh. I’m really so sad...We should have just gone to the court house and splurged on a honeymoon. I’m just feeling cooped up with taking care of the kids and not being able to work. We literally get no time alone. I’m so depressed and have had dreams of the place we were supposed to honeymoon at. I was supposed to go there six years ago, but those plans fell through also. Did any of you eventually have a honeymoon?

My FH and I aren't planning a honeymoon at this time. Our plan is to focus on planning for and paying for the wedding, and then after all the wedding bills are settled if we end up with enough money to honeymoon we will go on one. To be clear we anticipate having all the necessary funds to pay for our wedding, but if for some reason we spend less than we thought we would or we end up with lots of cash gifts that result in us having excess funds afterwards, we would anticipate putting that towards our honeymoon. We aren't doing a registry, so I anticipate that most of the gifts we receive (if any) will be checks or cash, but we certainly aren't expecting it and don't want to rely on it to plan our honeymoon. If we wait until after the wedding we'll know exactly how much "extra" we have and can plan appropriately once we know our budget.
