Are there any wedding customs/traditions you want to come back?

Maybe something that used to be done when you were younger that isn’t common anymore.

Oh what an interesting question! I like most of the things that have changed to be honest! I hate the idea of a garter or bouquet toss, hate the parent dances, love that we were able to send digital invites that were a lot easier to keep track of for RSVPs, and SO much easier to circulate messages to our guests when we had to postpone … and anything else I wanted, I’ve done anyway, irrespective of whether it’s common or not (like wearing a veil over my face etc).

And not that most of it relevant to me since our wedding is fairly traditional, but I like how much more choice there is. You don’t have to get married in a church, to a man, in a white dress. You can marry a lady, in a beautiful historic home, in a screaming red dress if you want. I love that.

Well, there's a lot of things that we tend to forget these days... What I regret is the fact that a lot of local traditions are being replaced by foreign influences. I don't say that american traditions are bad ;-), but it makes me laugh when lots of european brides think that they're local... They sometimes don't know who "bidesmaids" are but they know already that they must have them... ;-)
