Are we now unable to hide or remove posts in the forums?

That was a change - you can no longer hide or delete posts - only the mods have that power now.

Haha so if you want to remove your own post you have to flag yourself to get someone to take it down?

Hi Christina! Members are no longer allowed to hide their own discussions. Information that was helpful to you might be helpful to someone else as well!

You can change your email subscription settings in your account under Notifications . Uncheck the box next to Wedding Forums to unsubscribe from emails about Community activity!

I actually don't hate this rule but Lynnie what if our post posts 3 times?? We just have to let that clutter stay? I thought we don't like clutter here anymore.

@lynnie What about posts that were hidden before - were those posts deleted?

I actually haven't seen any of those duplicate post problems yet with this new update!! But yes, if there are duplicate posts we will remove the duplicates (it's also a reason you can flag things), and we can merge the comments as well!

I have a question because this update was something that was talked about an awful lot in the past, but we were constantly being told that it wasn't possible. So what changed to allow it to happen all of a sudden?

Nope, can't hide anymore. It's on the internet FOREVER now

I would also like all of mine deleted, I don't enjoy participating anymore

@Lynnie If we deactivate our account, do our past comments on posts get deleted? Or what's the easiest way to have them deleted?

We cannot, apparently we have no power over that anymore. Also our posts are public which is just great. Privacy is a thing of the past!

They have already said that they will not be deleted if you de-activate. You have to request everything to be deleted.

You can't hide anymore, but if you don't want to keep getting emails, just change your notification settings........

Just say a swear word. Then it will get taken down. Or talk about how terrible WW is now. That’ll work too.

Total overhaul As you guys know, the old forums were sooooo old that it was hard to even make small improvements. With this complete overhaul we are light-years ahead and working to fix these outstanding issues!
