Did the mods know the developers would be making boat loads of more work for you guys or was this sprung on you as ninja like as it was sprung on us?? I would be sooooo handing in my notice if I were you ladies.

At this time we are not changing our stance on wedding and relationship conversations only, vendor participation, being kind to others, or swearing.

These are all decisions we have made based on years of feedback for thousands of Community participants.

I can't say that these things will never change in the future, but this is deal right now!

Also if this is a community that is created for adults, why aren’t we allowed to use adult language or discuss adult topics? Why should we pander to the few who are easily offended by swearing and sex talk? And the best advice came from vendors. Aren’t you at all concerned about losing your partnerships with small business owners who were a part of this community?

Lynnie with all due respect.. most of the outrage is over how this was handled. We weren't even given a warning that we would wake up on a random Monday morning to ALL the rules changing along with all the website changes. It just seems unfair that people are getting banned for violating the new rules with NO grace period. We could have had a warning email a week or two ago telling us these changes were coming at the very least. Why was this not considered?

Posts that were hidden or flagged down before 12/18/17 are gone. So is content that moderators remove for you. But moving forward, all forum content is public and will remain so unless it is removed by the moderating team for violating the Community Guidelines.

Our Community content is (and always has been) pretty instantly indexed by search engines. Having this constant process of trying to find an old discussion but it not being there anymore, searching for something just to see an error screen, answering the same questions over and over, typing out great advice for someone just to post and see the thread is down - these are all user complaints that we've heard countless times. Our Community isn't supposed to be a revolving door of active and hidden content!

I'm not sure what you mean? I'd still prefer people update their account image to make it easier to remember each other and follow the conversation - but you are still totally allowed to have an 'anonymous' avatar if that's what you are comfortable with!

Can we PLEASE get a list of banned words and topics that are considered profane? We’re freaking ADULTS. Censorship will only turn away users, even the shiny new ones who you hope to make up the “new Community”. It’s not fair that people are getting punished when the new CGs are vague and were sprung upon us without warning.

I'm more concerned that photos that I had posted and then hidden in other posts were showing up on my profile. I went through and deleted all of them, but I also still am able to find hidden posts in my history, which I thought wasn't supposed to be happening?

I'm fine with being unable to hide posts or comments or whatever, what I'm not fine with is threads just disappearing out of no where. You wanna close a thread? Type a note that says "This violates our TOS, thread is closing." Half the crap I've commented on I can't find, the search is STILL useless, and the website is not user friendly at all. No questions get answered, threads just disappear. We need a mod AMA or something.
