Some women choose not to wear a wedding band and keep their ering as their wedding ring, others wear their ering and a band, and some just wear a band. There are so many combinations of options for you choose from.

Is the wedding band the one he will give you during the ceremony or are you wearing it instead of your e-ring now?

Nope! You can wear whatever you want to wear as far as rings go. Some people just wear an e-ring, some people just wear a band, and some wear both! Do whatever you want Smiley smile

Nope, not necessary! I know several brides who just wear either one (including me). I prefer the look of just the e-ring. Before the ceremony, I gave it to officiant.

I think a wedding band seals the deal, and that it's nice for both partners to exchange something new during the ceremony, but you can do whatever you want. No rules here.

Curious question...do people ask you "whens the wedding" or "when are you getting married" still randomly at public places?

I used to love that question, but its 10 days from my wedding and that bliss has passed. can i just be married!?

Just because something is traditional doesn't mean you HAVE to do it. You do what works for you - If you're worried about the ring exchange just have him put the Ering on your finger - or you could totally just scrap the rings part of the ceremony - it's your day you do what you want!

Nope! My MOH and her husband didn't exchange rings at their wedding - they nailed a cross together instead. She just wears her engagement ring!
