View Quoted Comment Oh ok that great and yes it is overwhelming at times with getting everything done. For me it's our guest I'm finding myself a lot reminding our guest to mail back the rsvps back. Now I have been having trouble with the postoffices some have gotten them and some not. I haven't done it emails because some done check there emails in long time. Now I will just be ok with texting yes or no lol lol at this point. I still have 4 thi gs that needs to be done. Thank you again for the Congratulations

1st time bride and it will be the only time. I'm 45 and my mom has nagged me about marriage since I was 21. I wasn't ready until now and I am completely ready to marry the love of my life.

We been thru a lot and a lot need to be done as in growth on both parts. We did counseling session before we gotten married we both a lesson to learn. Walk by faith and you and your FH should have God and keep others at bay about your relationship and marriage. And its was a good decision on your part you weren't ready and now its your time to shine and become 1. Happy planning and a great wedding day

My husband of 38 years and I are planning a sort of vow renewal in June 2023. I was married for 8 years before we met, and my first marriage was recently annulled. We had a small church wedding when we were married but I am Catholic and now we are planning a Catholic wedding ceremony at my church in June, 4 days after our legal anniversary. I am (a young) 71 years old, we have a 36 year old son who has 2 kids of his own, and I am as excited about being a bride as I was when we were first married! This wedding will be very small - a short ceremony at the end of Mass, with our son as Best Man and my best friend, who is also our choir director, as Matron of Honor. The grandkids will participate as well. Afterwards, my MOH and her husband - who will be the photographer for the event - are hosting our wedding dinner at a nearby elegant restaurant, just us, our son and the kids, and the priest. After the wedding, my husband and I will have the honeymoon we never had when we were first married. Meanwhile, my MOH, who is a young 76, and I, are as excited as kids! She had a surprise bridal shower for me, just the two of us, and literally showered me with gifts! We giggle together about the honeymoon! Yes, it is definitely as exciting, if not more so, the second time around!

I am first time though I am on the older side at 30, after graduating culinary school without earning my MRS degree, I though it would be an uphill battle to meet someone post-post-secondary education, but that is far from true. I met my fiance when I was hanging out on a Godzilla discord of all places. My fiance is also a first time groom and he is also in his 30s.

And I can relate I am a first timer begin a girlfriend or boyfriend is scary too begin in a relationship is always a risk. But you have found each other and fell in love and now you are about to embark on a amazing journey together. Ages are so class A and it doesn't matter love comes to us no matter what age we are. Thank you, sweet of you to say! Yes, I think wanting to marry the same man again after 38 years really says something! Our marriage has defined "better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and health" and we still want to be together, "til death do us part".
